Mystic Literature Club

Act One Scene One

You walk outside with your bookbags and you wear your school uniform, the (ribbon/tie) a bit messy from rushing out the door. You look around at all the other kids walking on the sidewalk to get to school. Everyone is in a friend group or with their lover. It really makes you feel alone. But hey, you're just a person without a club that spends all their free time on fanfiction and dating simulators. Maybe the anime club isn't too far fetched for you? You have to have a club to graduate anyways. You can deal with that later.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeey! (Name)! Wait up~!"

You roll your eyes and turn around to see one of the two Choi twins running up towards you waving his arms. He didn't even wear the blazer right! He just tied it around his waist and sprinted out the door. Your neighbors were the two Choi twins, Saeyoung and Saeran. The goofy one was Saeyoung and he has stsrted running so late that you and Saeran gave up on waiting for him to walk to school. Now that Saeran has early morning stuff to do for whatever reason you walk to school alone. Looks like the embarrassing dork that was Saeyoung managed to catch you this time. You couldn't help but smile and shake your head.

"Ha! Caught up to you this time! I didn't oversleep too much! lol!"

You rolled your eyes at him. He seemed so proud of himself for waking up at what he deemed a decent time. You put your hands on your hips. You wait for him to finish fumbling around with simple tasks he should have done already, like fix his glasses and put in his blazer, before scolding him. 

"Saeyoung, did you Seriosuly just say "Lol" out loud? This isn't  text message you know."

Saeyoung just laughed, grinning just as wide as you remember him to do. Saeyoung had to be the happiest person you knew. You can't even remember the last time he frowned. He's just like an anime character who is always happy, he's just always happy. You scoffed and rolled your eyes again. How many times will you roll your eyes in this scene? The world may never know. 

"Whatever. Come on, we can't be late to class."

You grabbed his hand and began leading him towards the school building. As you were walking he started going on about something.

"Oh yeah! I just realized you still need a club, don't you? I haven't heard about you joining the anime club yet so then I might still have a chance to snag you while I can! Basically I want you to join my club! It's the Literature Club! I know it sounds super lame but trust me it's cool! All my friends are there and even my brother! I promise you you're gonna love it! Can you come for a day? Please?"

You zoned out and didn't hear a single word of what he said except for the last question. You had no idea where you were going to go with him, but there's no use crushing his hopes out of nowhere! What if he asked you to go to the Seven-Eleven down the street from the school and eat all the Honey Budda Chips? You may never know! You just smiled back at him from over your shoulder.

"I'll think about it. Right now we need to focus on getting to class. You have enough tardies."

And like that Saeyoung changed the subject started cracking cheesy school related puns. Just a normal morning with Saeyoung Choi.
