...We'd start out slow.
I promised I'd never force you to anything, and I plan to keep it. The little things make the brightest of days for me, or even just seeing you will do.
When we get along to it, we decide to hang out for a bit after school. The silence was comfortable after a bit, and I found myself smiling like a DORK in your direction.
Its a little longer now, somehow its still winter. It's pretty cold outside, and it snows a little bit, so we'd go outside for a bit just to catch some snowflakes. Well, maybe I did but then again you didn't feel like sitting in that coffee shop by yourself.

Our noses are pink and our lips are dappled with snowflakes, and our eyelids grow heavy. I flopped over into the barely accumulated snow, but made the faint icon of a snow angel. I asked you to do the same, and our outlines stayed in the snow.
It's only logical that I draw hearts around us.

We don't have school the next day, because of the snow, so I invited you over to my house. You didn't think it would be the best idea, but little do you know I have the best surprise. We end up compromising and we met at the gate of my neighborhood. I brought you cocoa in a thermos, and we chatted for a bit while we walked back to my house.

I had the fire on, the candles lit, a cookbook on the counter. It took you a moment to recognize the cookbook and a bag of flour nearby before you squinted and turned back to me. "-You can't be serious right now." "Pff, sorry!" I laughed at my own humor, as my cat jumped up on the counter to watch the mess unravel. I read off the cookbook, and the snow continued to blow outside.

We're almost there, now-- We just to mix the flour and buttermilk together.  I asked you to hand me the flour, then paused before turning to you. "You wanna whisk?" "Uh- suuure." You walked over the mixing bowl and whisked it as I poured in the mix. "Okie, now we need to preheat the oven.." I paused, looking up at him for a moment before all of the lights shut off and we both froze.

"..You have got to be kidding me." I spoke, without thinking. It was silent for a minute, before you smiled. "Pff, sorry." "OH MY GOSH!" We both laughed, we ended up spending the rest of the time swaddled in blankets and watching Netflix on my Ipad. That was still the best day ever, even if our batter turned to mush.
