Confused by his words, the rest of the guild members only look at each other until Gray finally voiced out.
"What do you mean, Natsu? Who do we need to summon?"

Stunned by the sudden revelation made by Natsu, Gray and the others was covered in thousands of questions in their mind.
"I don't have time to explain the whole story but I need your help to make him come!"
As they still covered by confusion to everything that just happened, a certain dark force has come to the place where it all began.
"Well - well look who's here, my dear younger brother Natsu, give Lucy to me nor I will going to kill you!"
"Oh, yeah? Then come and get me if you can! Roar of the thunder flame dragon!"
Attacking the dark side of his brother, Natsu also using the remaining powers from the elemental stone, while the rest of the guild members are defending themselves from the poison that unleashed by the dark side of Zeref.
"If you're so eager to get Lucy, then you have to step over my dead body first!"
"Hahaha! As you wished brother!"
Activating his dark magic to attack Natsu the dark side of Zeref is ready to kill everyone in the forest with a single strike but before he could do anything Natsu's ability to control the power of the flame element is finally awakened from within.
"This place was the place where you kill her mother eighteen years ago, but I'm going to make you regret it!"
Regaining his full potential as a fire wizard Natsu later used his fire to open the portal to the other side where Lucy was struggling to face the true self of Zeref. The arrival of Natsu and the dark side of himself made Zeref to remember one very important thing that already been forgotten.
Eastern Forest Eighteen Years Ago.
Zeref's P.O.V
"I will never allowed you to touched her no matter what!"
"Unfortunately, we're the same person who has the same powers you may be able to protect her for now, but when she's grown up everything would never be the same anymore and I'm sure that, when the time comes, she will have to choose whether she will stop us both or sacrifice herself in order to let you alive! Hahaha!"
"You may be true, but as you said just now I will protect her from you until the time when she chose to put an end to both of us!"
As he tried his best to protect the newborn baby from his inner dark side, Zeref was struggling with his inner injury he sustained from the collision magic between Layla and his dark side that leads to Layla's death after transferring her remaining powers to her only daughter. If the dark side of himself is injured, the same thing will happen to him as well.
"Come on! We have to leave now I don't have much time to hold on!"
"Run as far as you can! But remember, I will hunt the girl until I succeed to achieved my desire!"
The vow of revenge from the dark side of Zeref has left a lifetime fears on Layla's heart, also become the reason why she choose to use her remaining powers to protect the young infant with her magic. As soon as she do so the young mother finally taking her last breath in the forest but before she passed away, Layla once again made a shocking revelation regarding to her daughter.
