Wendy leans on the the wall of the night club as she lights up her cigarette. The distant beating of the music from inside the club can be heard like many other night. She lets out puffs of smoke in a sigh. She wonders what the hell she's doing here. She stare up at the full moon shining above her in all its glory. The stars are barely visible due to the thick cloud. The corner of her mouth twitch upwards as if she was mocking herself, she remembered how Irene had loved the stars. She rolls her cancer stick that sits between her index and middle finger before bringing it back to her mouth again. Now she remembers. She was here for a one-night stand, too bad not even one caught her attention. She stare at her cig as she lets out more smoke. The end of the cigarette where her lips touched left a faint black mark, the stain of her ebony lipstick.

Wendy's eyes traveled to the streets which is where a lot of drunk people are at. She shifts from one foot to the other as she continues to smoke. How pathetic this seems. She couldn't believe she started smoking again after Irene left. Her girlfriend for four consecutive years broke up with her because Irene's respectfully stupid parents doesn't want their daughter dating a woman. She didn't remember how much pain she felt nor how many times she cried. All she knew is that it happened, and it wasn't just a bad dream. She tries move on, but she isn't exactly a better person ever since Irene is gone from her life. Fucking different girls, getting wasted every night, smoking like there's no tomorrow. She didn't care about what it could do to her system, everything is nothing to her if it'll numb the pain of a heart break. Though it hardly numb anything, it's merely a thing she does to let her emotions out of its bottle. She still feel the need to do something, anything that could make her forget, even for a few moments.

She flick the cigarette that has gotten smaller in size and it fell right in front of her black timberlands. She kills the fiery tip with a step of her shoe. She crosses her arms together. She felt dull and indifferent, not from pain, but from boredom. Getting back home seems like it'll only add up to this feeling of emptiness. She reach the pocket of her black leather jacket to grab more cigs. When she was lighting it up, her eyes landed on a rather strange simulacrum. She found her goody two shoes neighbor who always play chess on her balcony is wearing a sexy and tight yellow crop top with black jeans that are equally as tight, striding confidently to the club with a few of her friends. Wendy never knew there was another side of her nerdy but attractive neighbor, and she certainly never knew she has a sexy body underneath those big sweaters she always wore.

Kang Seulgi.

Wendy remembered her during their high school years. Seulgi was that one kid who would stress out if she got a B or freak out if she hand out her assignments and projects a week before the deadline. Wendy never really give her much of attention, except for that one day where she wore a ridiculous bear t-shirt to school, starting a campaign where she talks about "Bears are Not Killers". Wendy remembered how she rolled her eyes so hard that day.

As smoke escape her lips, she eyes Seulgi who are talking casually to her friends. It was such a rare sight to see Seulgi in make up, but you won't see Wendy complaining. Seulgi is looking like a full-course meal. When Seulgi was about to enter the club, her eyes met Wendy's. She likes Seulgi's reaction of pure shock.
