« Well, here we are » Maddie said when we finally reached our destination. We got out of the taxi, took our suits and took a look at the huge buildings waiting for us to cross their gates. I frowned, I didn't want to be there, I miss my London friends already.
« Come on Mills, it's not so bad. »
« It is Mads, we don't have anything here, our friends are in London, our families are in London along with all of our memories, so yes, it's pretty bad. »
« Hey, I think we're doing pretty great, at least we got each other. Does that cheer you up? » my best friend stated. Maddie and I know each other since we were born, our mothers met in 8th grade and are best friends since. She is always there for me, and one of the people I love the most.
« Yeah, we got each other. » I gave her a faint smile, which she returned. « You know Mads, you didn't have to do that. » I said referring to the fact that she followed me here and left everything she got so I wouldn't be alone when she didn't have to.
« I didn't do that only for you dude, I wouldn't have survived without you for more than a day. » we laughed and made our way into the reception building.
« Good morning ladies, how can I help you? » the receptionist asked us.
« Morning, we are Millie Bobby Brown and Madison Ziegler, we are new here. » Maddie answered her.
« Oh right, here's your keys, you'll find your school books and uniforms in your dorm. There is the pool schedule and the gym one as well. The plan of the school. You'll find all the activities you can do on that paper. Don't hesitate to come if you need anything. » she said handing us all our stuff.
« Thank you, Sophie. » I said reading the name on her desk. She smiled at us and we made our way to the elevator.
« Floor number 7, room 11. » I read on our papers. « Well, I think this is it Maddie, we are officially Brentwood students. »
8, 9, 10, 11 there it is. We opened the door and got in.
« Wow. » Maddie and I said in hearts when we saw what was behind the wooden door. The door was opening to the living room and the kitchen as well. Then there was a door that leaded to the bathroom and another leading to the bedroom. Two queen sized beds, a tv, two huge closets and a balcony. This is huge.
« I love this place. » Maddie said and I agreed.
When we finally finished putting all our stuff in the closets we decided to take a break and go to the pool. School doesn't start until next week so we have seven days to settle down a little.
We were tanning for about fifteen minutes when someone came up to us.
« Hey, you girls new here? » a pretty tall guy with light brown hair and brown eyes asked us. He was accompanied by a pretty handsome guy with black curly hair and freckles all over his face. Maddie gave me the 'are we thinking about the same thing' look and I gave her the 'of course we are' one we definitely are thinking the same thing, they are god damn hot.
« Yeah, we just got here actually » I answered quickly.
« British? Ooo Love it. I'm Jaeden and that's my best friend Finn. » he said referring to the curly haired boy.
« Nice to meet you. » Finn said.
« Nice to meet you too. » I said and Maddie followed.
« I'm Maddie and that's my best friend Millie. » she said looking right into Jaeden's eyes. Ok, someone found a crush. I smiled at the two boys in front of me. Jaeden sat next to Maddie and Finn sat next to me.
We talked with them for about two hours and I got to know Finn a little so that's great. He told me he is actually really interested in music and he is playing in a kind of indie rock band called calpurnia. I told him how much I love to sing and he said we should play something together sometime. He told me why he was here and i told him why I was here. We talked about family, friends, hobbies and so much more. We really had an easy talk, I enjoyed it. When we went back to our room we all exchanged numbers and they invited us to their dorm for a 'pizza party', Jaeden's words.
« You look hot Mills, but you know we're just going to eat pizza with friends right? Or maybe you're trying to impress someone, who knows? » Maddie winked at me.
« I'm not trying to impress anybody Mads, that's my everyday style and you know it. You're just trying to make me admit whatever the hell you think I think. » I chuckled. I really wasn't trying to impress, i was just wearing a tube top with some high waisted shorts and I barely had makeup on.
« Come on Mills admit it, Finn's cute huh? »
« How about you tell me what you think of Jaeden huh? » right when I pronounced Jaeden name her face went red and I laughed.
« Come on Maddie let's go » I said trying to stop myself from laughing.
Floor number 6, room 34 well, here I come. Maddie knocked on the door and Finn opened it, shirtless. I felt my cheeks heat up a little. What's wrong with me??
« Oh, sorry i didn't see the time. Come in. » Finn said looking right into my eyes, great, he definitely noticed my blushing and staring at his abs. We got in and it's actually pretty similar to our dorm, the stuff in it is just not the same obviously.
Finn put a shirt on and called Jaeden who was in what I guess is their bedroom.
« Hey girls, are you hungry? »
We were eating pizza while talking about tv shows.
« What the hell man, Toni looks pretty good I'll give you that but the best looking is definitely Veronica. » Finn argued with Jaeden.
« Whatever man. How about we spice up the mood huh? You girls like beer? » both Maddie and I nodded and he got up and grabbed four beers in the fridge.
We were all at our fifth beer, and we now were playing truth or dare. Yeah, I know, cliché.
« Millie truth or dare? » Maddie asked me when the bottle landed on me.
« hum, truth, I don't really feel like moving right now. » I said as I really don't, I was so frustrated because of how bad I wanted to smoke right now but I didn't want Finn to think I'm some fake butch that smokes to try to seem cool.
« Would you rather get in couple with Finn or get back with Jacob? » she asked.
« Pfff, is that even a question ? » both Maddie and I laughed and the boys looked at each other with confused faces.
« Sorry but, who's Jacob ? » Finn asked.
« That's an asshole shithead son of a bitch that I somehow dated for a year. How could I be so blind? »
« What did he do? » Jaeden asked. Maddie probably saw the hurt look on my face because before they could ask more question she changed the topic. Oh Maddie I love you.
« SO? Who's turn? » she said and looked at me with a 'I got you' look. I spilled the bottle and it landed on Finn.
« Finn truth or dare? »
« Dare, I'm not a pussy. » he said and Jaeden and him high fived.
« I dare you to tell us who do you think is the hottest person in the room. » Jaeden said and winked at him. Finn's eyes widened and he groaned. I rolled a joint the hole time and nobody was noticing that. I couldn't take it anymore I needed a good smoke. Don't get me wrong, I'm not addicted or anything I usually don't smoke drugs that much but sometimes I like to you know, be zen? I really wish Finn doesn't say Maddie, i think I'm so drunk that I'll probably burst out into a nervous laugh. Right when I was about to lit my joint, Finn answered.
« Fine. Millie's the hottest. » I burned my finger and my eyes widened.
« Ouch! »
« Is that really surprising you?» Jaeden asked.
« Yeah, people usually say Maddie is the hottest or the coolest etc. » I said finally lighting up my magic cigarette against stress and anxiety.
« Well I think you're hotter. You smoke? »
« Yeah. » Why the hell did I do that, he's going to see me as a freaking junky now, good.
« Makes you even hotter. » he muttered under his breath.
