Tohru takes a wrapped present out of the bag she was holding, and carefully places it down on the bed between the pillows. She moves back and looks down smiling "she'll love it" clenching something else in the bag she leaves the room.
The dragon comes lightly skipping out the room humming. Kobayashi looks over thinking thats what the wrapped present was for, but notices there's still a jingle coming from the bag. Kobayashi is looking at her suspiciously now "...Tohru? What is in that bag?"
"....." Tohru stops
Kobayashi stares at her, Tohru goes and kneels on the couch next to the human. Reaching into the bag she smiles "an early Christmas present for you" Tohru pulls out a small wrapped box "even though it's Christmas tomorrow... I want you to have it" her tail swishes happily.
Kobayashi puts her hand up, and hesitantly takes it "open it now?" "...whenever you please"
Kobayashi slowly unwraps the present and opens the box pulling out a small necklace with a dragon on it. She stares at the gift from Tohru, then looks up into Tohru's eyes.
A small smile goes onto her face "thank you Tohru" The dragons face lights up and she gets giddy "it's no problem Miss Kobayashi!"
The door into the apartment opens and the small Kanna runs into the room "I'm back!" She says with her nonchalant expression "did you have fun?" "Yes" "great! I'm glad you too get along" Kanna hurries into her own room.
A couple of minutes later Kanna comes out hopping up and down, still with a poker face "Lady Tohru Lady Tohru!" Tohru looks over, she's currently in the kitchen starting dinner "yes?" "I got a present" she hops again "oh really? Want to open it?" "Yes yes!" She gets it from the room and comes out again "Lady Tohru! Watch me watch me" she rips it open.
BEHOLD! A giant plush frog. Kanna gets excited and hugs it hopping up and down "amazing amazing amazing!" The small dragon hops back into her room
It's night time now, Kanna's in bed already and Kobayashi is about to go to her room "goodnight Tohru" Kobayashi stretches and yawns walking to her door, but as she puts her hand to the doorknob "Tohru..." Tohru looks up "hmmm?" "Come with me.." "huh? Ok" Tohru follows quick into Kobayashi's bedroom
There's a warm, strong aura through out the room. It's very tense.
Kobayashi pulls up one side of the blanket and looks over at Tohru "...get in" the dragon blushes and slowly gets under. Kobayashi puts the blanket down and gets in the other side placing Tohru's gift on the bedside table
She looks at Tohru, Tohru looks back. Kobayashi smirks a bit and rolls over closing her eyes.
"... thanks for the gift"
