i was thrown into the back seat of the black suv i saw the day i snapped all those pictures. i plopped down on the leather seat and as i sat up tom had slammed the door shut. he stood outside the car on his phone and the only thought racing through your mind was to run. i scooted to the passenger side of the car and tried to push the door open, nope. it was locked. you started to pull the handle like a mad women and groaned while doing it, "fucking stupid child proof locks!". i saw tom walk in front of the semi tinted window with a sly grin. "seriously! child proof locking the doors?" my mouth was gaped open with anger.he just winked at me and pressed his back into the car door still talking to whoever on the phone. "argh!" i slapped the window that was pressed to his back. of course he'd child lock the doors, only i was not a child! i was a grown ass woman who was getting kidnapped by the freaking mafia! tom finally got off the phone and waltzed over to the driver side and hopped in. i saw him glance at me from the review mirror and i quickly diverted my eyes away. i heard him scoff before hearing a click then it was my turn to scoff, "wow." tom looked back at me with an annoyance in his eyes, "what?" his voice laced with annoyance.
"nothing, just didn't expect the king of mafia tom holland to be concerned with wearing a seat belt." i shrug my shoulder and looked out the window as the car starts up. "i care about my safety," he said plainly making a u-turn. i pressed my hand to my mouth before the laugh can escape through. he seemed to notice and i also caught on to the tick in his jaw, clearly i get under his skin. well, he did the same to me, so we're even. so i decided to shut up and watch my life be swept away out the window. there was this hole in your chest that seemed to grow an inch with every blurry tree that passes by. i definitely wasn't anywhere near home, the new area was pristine and big. i was so used to the crammed homes, small dingy shops filled with the sweetest people, the quick routes to all the important places.
all of this was going to change, the only reason he kidnapped me was to most likely kill me. and for some odd reason that didn't scare me as much as i thought it would, it calmed me a little. i didn't have anything left to lose here, all i had was already taken from me at a very young age. all i truly cared for was the camera my papa bought me the day he was killed, the box of memories stashed in my closet, and mom's chain that was left at my office desk. i felt his eyes on me every five seconds or so and part of me wanted to tell him to shove it, but what was the point in wasting my last words on him? someone who meant nothing to me but an end. and eventually i was watching him pull the car into a large drive way. at the end of it was a metal gate that slowly sunk into a brick wall. at the top of the drive way was three boys around my age just waiting.
great, it was going to end in a drive way. i started to take in all the little things, the car jolting a little when it stopped, the engine sounding like a wind up toy dying down, the way the breeze tickled my nose slightly. i noticed the three guys looking at me and and the one in the middle- his piercing blue eyes rang a bell in my mind. "right hand man," i nodded to myself. i watched tom slap hands with him. the other two boys i could instantly tell they were twins, and were tom's brothers. they all started to chat for a few seconds, a couple laughs before their faces went straight and looked at me. a lump formed in the back of my throat, i used my legs to slide me to the opposite car door.
why did they all have to have the same snarky smirk? my knees were pushed up to my chest. i saw the right hand man, his name not coming to mind but i swore i was told it once or twice, he was coming up to the door i just scooted away from. he tried opening the door but it was locked, a satisfied grin appearing on my lips but it dropped the second i saw the clicker in his fingers, his eye brow wiggling at me. he pressed the unlock button and the lock snapped up. "nope!" i slammed my foot on the lock to re-lock it. he did it again, i did the same, unlock, re-lock, unlock, re-lock. he then held his hands up in defeat and backed away feeling accomplished i leaned into the door behind me. my eyes widened, "oh no," the other doors were unlocked weren't they? i sighed feeling defeated.
