So Close Yet So Far

Sophia and Ashlynn had walked into the mouth and climbed down the steps...Or, it's throat as it seemed like. But when they got to the bottom, their eyes went wide with amazement. (KH1 Layout) They walked down this curved path until this random huge ball came hurtling after them. So they both ran to the side just as the ball pasted them and rolled off a cliff.

Sophia shivered, brushing sand off of her black outfit. "Jeez was that suppose to be a trap or something?"

Ashlynn shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe. But if that was, we should look out for more traps in the future." She looked to where that ball just fell off at. "We should pray no more of them will come and attacked us like Indiana Jones."

Sophia took a step back when another one of those ball things zipped by them and fell off the cliff. Sophia laughed then walked over to the curve in the floor and pointed to it. "How about we just stay away from them huh?"

Ashlynn nodded. "Agreed."

So the two girls continued onward, but not for long. Suddenly these red bird things appeared. Sophia and Ashlynn got out their weapons, both knowing that they were probably Heartless.

So Ashlynn shot an arrow and it hit one of the wings of this flying creature, which made it drift downward where Sophia could hit it. She defeated the Heartless by jumping up and smacking him. But when she landed that bandage on her leg fell on, revealing scars of claw marks going across her leg. Ashlynn asked if it was all right, and Sophia said that it didn't hurt.

So the two of them continued defeating the red flying Heartless. And when they were finally gone, the two girls put away their weapons and met up with each other.

"You sure you leg is okay?" Ashlynn asked, looking down at it.

Sophia nodded. "Yeah it's fine. It doesn't hurt." She waved her hand, dismissing the conversation. "Well anyway, we should get going. SO far the only things close to 'human' we have saw are Heartless...And obviously, that's not a good sign."

Ashlynn crossed her arms and tapped her foot. "Yes but...When they attack people, they steal their hearts...But where do those Hearts go? What happens to those people?"

Sophia sighed and turned away. "If I knew, then I would tell you..."

Ashlynn shrugged, then un-crossed her arms. "Well whatever. How about we continue on okay?"

They both kept going, defeating some more Heartless along the way. Sophia called the red flying ones 'Wyvern' Heartless, since Zayne wasn't there to name them.

Anyway, the ended up in a room full of gold and treasure! But when Sophia grabbed a coin, the ground began to rumble. So she put it back, and then the rumbling stopped. So Ashlynn and Sophia agreed not to pick up any gold for the rest of the way.

So they left the treasure room and entered the next one. This one was huge with some blue stuff in the middle and platform on the sides of it. (Jafar Boss KH1)

Sophia took a few steps forward as she looked around in awe. Ashlynn went over and studied the blue stuff on the floor, poking it.

But their investigation stopped when they heard some voices. So they both ran and stood right beside the way they came from. So when these people entered, they wouldn't know that they were there until they turned around.

So as the people entered, Sophia and Ashlynn saw that Jasmine girl that they had met earlier. Then there was some creepy tall dude leading her inside the area.

"Why have you taken me here?!" Jasmine demanded the creepy dude.

The dude turned around and opened his mouth to reply, but his eyes caught Sophia and Ashlynn. Ashlynn cursed under her breath as Sophia began to head for the exit. But before she could get out, three other people came in and smacked into Sophia, making her fall.
