It had been two week since you had woken up in the Mystic Messenger universe and explanations were still very few and lacking. Honestly, the best explanation that you had heard from any of the boys came from Yoosung and even then it wasn't very believable.
You stopped tapping on your computer as the memory surfaced. "I bet," Yoosung had said the day after you had woken up, "That aliens picked you up and dropped you here. They probably thought this would be a fun experience for you."
You chuckled as you went back to your computer, composing emails to invite people to the party. That explanation was the best you had and it came from a video game addicted college student. That sounded, perfectly, like your whole life. In fact, it was more than that mystery. The longer you were in this world the more you forgot about what was going to happen in the game. You had to learn things about these boys that you knew you knew but couldn't remember. Sometimes, something would try to spark a memory. A feeling that you should know this but the memory never surfaced.
You heard a bing from your phone and, with a smile, you opened it to find a text from Jumin. You passed a picture of you and Seven and read his text.
'Hey, Y/N. Jaehee won't take Elizabeth the third anymore. I don't understand why. I need someone to watch Elizabeth!'
You laughed and texted back, 'Please, Jumin. Jaehee is probably just tired. Give her some time. In the meantime, if you absolutely need someone to watch Elizabeth I would be happy to watch her for you.'
'Thanks, Y/N,' Jumin replied, 'How's the party going?'
'Fine,' you replied, looking at your computer with a slight sigh. 'Was actually in the middle of the planning when you texted.'
'Oh!' Jumin texted, Sorry, I'll leave you be. Make sure you keep eating.'
You rolled your eyes with a grin and typed back, 'I will. Stop worrying about me so much.'
'I can't. It's my job to worry. Especially about you.'
'Okay. Thanks for worrying I suppose. Talk to you later.'
'Bye,' Jumin texted before you put your phone down to continue working on the emails.
..................................
'You still up?' You looked at the words you just sent to Seven, waiting for him to respond. You were sitting on your bed, listening to your favorite songs taking some well earned down time from working over your computer all day. You had been working really hard for this party. It was actually really nice to be so needed for something. Really nice.
'Well, duh,'came the reply from Seven. 'I'm a hacker. I don't sleep. Lolol'
'For some reason, I dont believe that you just don't sleep.' You paused in your reply to switch songs. 'Probably has something to do with the fact that you start to go insane if you don't get and sleep at all.'
'Who's to say I'm not insane,' Seven replied, making you laugh. 'Hey, you haven't been in the chat for a while.'
'You're right,' you replied, surprised that you had forgotten about the chatroom. The memories were fading even faster now. 'I'll make that my priority....in the morning of course.'
'Why in the morning? Why not just do it now?'
'Because unlike some hackers I could name I need sleep.'
Seven sent a laughing character before texting, 'Good night.'
'Night,' you replied simply before putting your phone down to get ready for bed.
