There's a creature in the Ocean.

It's tentacles stretch far and wide and it tickles the shores with its toxic ink.
It slumps it's lulling body around the waves' surface and coats the tides in its veil of white.

Soon no inch of precious water will be untouched by the beast growing by the minute. It wraps around the marine life, suffocating and strangling, and swelling in their bellies. Until one day...pop

Soon no animal will be left unscathed by the plastic wrath, every innocent carcass littering the Earth is another victim to the creature.

Soon there will be no more Ocean, only plastic.

But soon is coming far too quickly. If we are not careful the time will catch up to man kind and laugh in our faces at our stupidity. For every straw we place upon our lips and plastic bag we let drift away will come back to haunt us.

I fear the plastic demon, I fear what it has done, but most of all I fear for what it will be given the power to do. So I do not give it my mercy, I starve it of my straws. I refuse to toss away bottle caps and I recycle all my cups. I will not give in to the fatal flaw of the majority of our human race. As to become one of the murderers of the Earth, I personally would be disgraced.

But no matter how hard I try, one soul just will not do, if the rest of us do not see what we are causing, well...

The creature will catch us all.
