Ten

Laying on my bed, I smile thinking about how god damn weird the day has been. I went from not knowing who Johnny Seo was, to running through town looking for our brothers together. Who knew that we have been neighbours this whole time.

There's something about Johnny that confused me though. I can't quite put my finger on it but it's there like an annoying hair that you just want to get rid of or find out. I've only known this boy for a day and I already find myself wanting more? That is so unlike me.

I'm interrupted from my thoughts when I hear noise from my window. What the fuck. . . . no one could knock on my window I'm not on the ground floor. I brave my way to the window and look out to find Johnny standing below. "Johnny? What are you doing outside of my room in the middle of the night?" His face lights up and he replies sassily "Ten, ten o'clock is not the middle of the night!" I huff in response and cross my arms "Well I consider anytime after sunset the middle of the night,"

I don't know why, but this guy seems to rile me up like no one else.

"Anyways I want to show you something! Come down!"

Ten minutes later I'm being dragged through town with no idea of my destination.

You know if I ever told Taeyong this he would never believe me.

I suddenly decide to sit down on the pavement "I'm too tired to go on!" I dramatically inform Johnny. He gives me a blank stare before saying "oh come on ten are you that un-athletic?" Crossing my arms over my chest I huff "I'll have you know I'm a dancer! I just can't be bothered since you've basically kidnapped me,"

I wonder if he was joking about me being lazy.

Without any warning, I'm sling over his shoulders. I try to get down but stop when he tells me that there's no point with a laugh.

I'm not on his shoulders for long before he puts me back down onto the ground.

I turn around and see a breathtaking view of town. "Fucking hell thats beautiful!" I think aloud, he nods "I know right,"

I look around at where we stand, a clearing of grass hidden behind a forest of trees.

How the hell did he find a place like this and why did he show me?

Johnny and I lay on the grass and look at the view and stars. Honestly at this point, I wouldn't be surprised if this was all a dream - everything today has just seemed so weird and unusual.

We talk for what seems like forever, I wish it had been forever. I didn't even notice myself falling asleep.

I had the strangest dream that someone was touching my hair and carrying me.

I wake up in a room I don't recognise next to a sleeping Johnny. I grimace thinking about how my stepdad will react to me not returning home last night.

I look at Johnny and slowly get out of bed. I put my shoes on and head down his stairs.

I'm interrupted before I get to the door "Oh hello there," I turn around to see an elderly man smiling at me "Are you another one of Johnny's friends?"

I awkwardly reply "Uh yeah I fell asleep so he carried me here, I live next door." Shuffling to the door, I bow and leave the house.

Before I could get to the gate I run into Johnny's friend who was hitting on Taeyong, Jaehyun I think it was?

We nod at each other in passing and I make my way back to my house. After explaining to my mum where I had been, I quickly get ready.

Taeyong waits for me as usual and we start walking to school.

"You won't believe what happened last night," I tell him
"Try me,"
"So it turns out Johnny Seo lives right next to me and I never noticed and that same Johnny dragged me through town yesterday to- I don't even know where! I fell asleep and woke up in his bed." I look at Taeyong and he smiled at me "You were right, I don't believe you,"

We walk in silence listening to the busy sound of cars until I remember something "Hey do you know anything about Johnny's friend?" I ask watching as my best friend's face goes from a healthy colour to a tomato. "H-how the hell would I know anything?" I put my arms up in defence "Woah chill Tae just a question." I eye him suspiciously but give up questioning him, he'll tell me when he wants to.

We walk into school like always and go sit with our friends. I make Tae agree not to tell our other friends about what Johnny and I did last night.

I shake myself out of cloudy thoughts and focus on Yuta who was telling an in depth story of a weird ass dream he had.

"I turn around and find out that the gay gnome that had been following me was actually a gay leprechaun! It took me to the end of the rainbow an-"

Thankfully Yuta's weird story is  interrupted by the bell "Thank fuck," I mutter and make my way to class.

"Ten wait up! We have registration together!" Yuta calls and I pretend not to hear him, pulling my hoodie over my head.

"I can see you!" He shouts down the hall way making me run faster.

I can't help but burst out laughing, this is so stupid.

I'm gleefully running away from Yuta and into registration when I'm stopped by my form tutor for running in the hallways.

"Sorry," I mutter and sit in my usual place.

"Leechaiyapornkul! Your hoodie too!" My teacher yells and I sigh this is going to be another long day and an even longer year. I can just feel it.
