My Mate and Me

Chapter 1

Today's the day that I go to my new school exiting right? Well for me it is terrible, I mean who likes to be the new kid in the school. My name is Luna Moon and I am a wolf. I know I know I am a myth and that werewolves don't exist, well tell that to the 200 packs across the world. I am part of the Moonlight Forest pack. I am seventeen years old and I am the alpha's daughter which means every guy wants to be my mate. Now if you don't know what a mate is then I will tell you. A mate is like a soul mate for wolves. When you turn eighteen you can find your mate. Our wolves tell us if the person is our mate. First you smell something amazing. Then when you follow it hopefully it is your mate. After that you go through the mating process. You have to grow your mate bond by hanging out with one another. After that they mark each other by biting their necks with their k9's. They do that so others know that they are taken. A beautiful mark is left. Every mark is different. When that's set and done you have to umm... you have to mate. Then you will become one. You could hear each other's thoughts and can feel what the other person feels. You are connected as one. But, enough about that today is my first day at wolf school it is where four of the most powerful packs come together to find their mate and go to school. Their is my pack the Green forest pack, the Black sea pack, and the Blood wind pack. All the seventeen year olds till your 25 go to the school. They set it up so people could find their mates easier. I hope I can find my mate. See alpha blood can only mate with alpha blood so if my mate is going to the school he is one of the alphas son's. My birthday is in two days Which means I can find my mate in two days now that's exciting. Ok... enough about me let's go to school.

I woke up. It was 6:30 and my first day at school. Good thing I am not alone in this one. I got my two best friends with me Jen and Brook. I quickly got out of bed then went to the bathroom to take a shower. After about 15 minutes of that I need to get dressed. So I put on some cute shorts and a amazing crop top and black nike's. I did my hair and put it in a ponytail. When that is set and done it is 7:20 and I got to run to school. I take a shortcut through the forest to human territory. We put the school in the forest in the human territory so wolves don't attack other wolves that would be a death sentence for setting foot in another pack's territory. I finally got to the campus with 10 minutes to spare so I just went to my locker and went to class early. I could feel people staring at me but i just walk past them. Their wolves can sense my alpha states. When I got to my class I was so happy to see Jen and Brook talking in the corner. " Hey guys looks like we are in the same homeroom awesome." I said giving then both a big hug. " girl I missed you so much." Jen said. Jen and I have been friends since we were three. Same with Brook and I. We are all like sisters. " Have you seen the boys here. Man oh man I hope I can find my mate soon." Brook said looking down at the floor. Brook just turned eighteen and So did Jen so I am the only one that is seventeen but I am so close to being eighteen that it doesn't matter. " You are lucky luna you get to be with a alpha." Jen said looking at me. " Yeah so lucky." I said sarcastically. " Alright class go find your seats." The teacher said. OF course Jen and Brook get to sit together so I have to sit by someone I don't know and of course it is the alpha's son from the Green forest pack. All the alpha son's were in my homeroom class which was just great. All of them were already eighteen. All the girls keep saying that when I turn eighteen I am going to have to be really careful around them until I find my mate. There is ethan from the Green forest pack, Zane from the Black sea pack, and Jacob from the Blood wind pack. All of them are so amazing and cute. The whole class period I could feel ethan zane staring at me out of the corner of my eye. Finally homeroom was over and next I have wolf history. Which of course my whole homeroom class has so another class with all the alphas great. This time I had to sit by zane. Zane is one of the most popular guys in school so all the girls wants to be with him and all the guys want to be him and again I could feel him looking at me. Next class writing and guess what? All the alphas are in it I swear all the teachers made it so I have all the alphas in my class which is so great. This time I had to sit by Jacob and I got to say I like jacob. He is strong and smart and also very funny. All my wolf classes went good now finally it is lunch. " I want pizza." Jen said. " Me too." Brook said. " I will go get the pizza just go get use a table I will be right back." I said. They went to go find a table and I went to go get the pizza. But of course I was stopped by zane . " Hey baby where are you going?" Zane said looking at me up and down. " well I was just getting pizza for my friends and I." I said. " Well maybe me and you could hang out tonight." He said still looking at be up and down. " Yeah I don't think so I am going for a run tonight so maybe another time." I said and I walked past him. I finally got the pizza and went to go find the girls. When I got there the guy wolves got their before I could get their. So I gave them their pizza and went to sit down next to jen. Right when I did so jacob sat right by me with his tray and smiled at me. I really liked his smile. " Is this seat taken?" He said looking at me. " Not at all feel free to sit there . " I Said smiling back. " So I hear your eighteenth birthday is in two days is that right?" He said looking down at his food. " Yeah I am having a big party for it on Friday . Everyone is invited." I said looking into his eyes. " cool so I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out tonight." He said. Everyone heard him even zane who was sitting a couple rows away from us. They started to stare at jacob and I. " Umm.... Well I was going to go on a run tonight in the forest." I said Looking down. " Well I hope you like company where do you want to meet?" Jacob said. Right when he did so Zane got up from his seat and stormed out of the lunch room. " Umm... ok I guess we can meet after school by my locker." I said. When I said that I could see the happiness in his eyes. After that I have training which is only for the alphas. Alpha training is very important. So as you already know it will be a very small class. It was just the four of us and the teacher. We went in the woods so we could shift into our wolves. My wolf is all black and my eyes are silver. Jacob's wolf was all black with a brown belly. Ethan's was brown and blonde and Zane's was all black. When I came out from the tree all eyes were on me. Jacob made the first move and circled me and then gave a playful bark. You could tell Zane and Ethan were not happy. " Ok guys run 10 laps around the school then come back here when you are done." The teacher said to us. " Ready, Steady, GO." And we were off. I was leading them I have always been faster than anyone in my pack. Behind me was jacob. Then Zane and ethan neck and neck. Finally jacob caught up to me but, you could tell he was running top speed. I was the first one to finish then jacob then Zane and Ethan. I quickly shifted back into human from and came out from the tree and to my surprise they were all staring at me. " How are you that fast. I am one of the fastest wolves in my pack and I could barely keep up." Jacob said looking at me with amazement. " I am the fastest wolf in my pack. I run everyday after school." I said looking down I could tell that a was blushing. Zane and Ethan were still in shock of what just happened. Finally Zane said " So about your birthday are we invited too?" he said looking at me. " Umm... yeah all you guys are. But, if you can't go that's fine." I said looking down. Jacob came over to me and put his hand under my chin and lifted it so we were face to face. " I wouldn't miss it for the world." Jacob said with a smile. At that moment the teacher left and so did ethan and zane. I new they all wanted to be my mate but, I think I like jacob but, my wolf will tell me when I am ready. Jacob and I were still a few inches away from each other when we heard the bell ring. " well... I guess it is time to go I will see you after this class then we will go on that run ok?" I said looking at him. We walked out of the woods together and went to class. After class I went to my locker where jacob was already standing their. " Well are you ready to go?" He said looking at me. " Yeah just try and keep up." I said with a laugh. So we went out into the woods and shifted into our wolves. I could tell his wolf was checking my wolf out Which was kind of awkward. I ran over to him and tackled him to the ground. Now my wolf was on top and I gave him a playful bark and got off him. I got to say that we had a really good time. We were running for hours, it was so much fun but, it had to end. We went back to where our clothes were and went behind a tree and shifted back. " I should probably get back before my dad kills me. Thanks It was a really fun night." I said looking at me. Jacob started to walk towards me and I new what was going to happen before I knew it his lips were on mine and sparks flew through the air. I new we had to stop but, It was so hard not to. Finally I had enough strength to pull away. " I'm really sorry I didn't mean to do that really but, god that was amazing." Jacob said looking at me. " It's fine that was amazing but, I really have to go. With that I started to run back to my pack house. When I got home it was about 11:30 at night. When I opened the door my mom and dad were standing there looking very angry. " Where the hell have you been young lady." My dad said. I could tell that he was really angry. " You were supposed to be home two hours ago. You better have a good reason why you are late or else you are grounded. My mother said with the same angry tone like my fathers. " I was out for a run with Jacob and we lost track of time." I said looking down. " Jacob Atoms The son of Michael Atoms and the next Alpha of the Blood wind pack?" My dad said with a surprised look on his face. My mom was in shock. " Yes he wanted to go on a run after school and we lost track of time I am sorry." I said still looking down at the floor. " Well go get ready for bed it is a school night. Good night luna." My mother said. And with that I went up to my room and quickly got some pjs on and went to bed but, it was really hard because I couldn't stop thinking about jacob and how he made me feel inside but, with that I fell asleep.
