You were never the social type. Literally no one knew you at your school.
After your mom died, your dad had been working extra long hours.
Your brother had work as well so you were usually the only one.
Your house had become a dead place. The same liveliness was gone and so was your happiness
You became so introverted and avoided others.
This wasn't how you used to be like. You were so open and happy and now it was as if a huge vacuum took away everything you loved.
Your 2 friends were both going to the same college and in the same major and while they moved away to be dorm buddies, you were alone in the town you grew up in.
You hadn't really had any dream careers as a child, but after your mom died, you felt as if you had to continue her legacy.
She was a doctor. She helped many people and saved lives. She was a woman you always looked up to.
And now she was gone. The same thing that she tried to cure, killed her.
You knew that so many families had lost someone to cancer, but you didn't know it would happen to the person closest to you.
In the end, you applied to one of the best schools for medicine and actually made it.
This is why when a new apartment building was built near your college, you immediately looked at the offers and thankfully they were in your price range
You had been saving up from all the summer jobs you worked and now it had payed off
You hadn't told your brother or dad about your plans on living alone, but you knew they wouldn't mind anyways
It was now the last day of summer before school begins and you were playing on your phone
You downloaded a new dating game a week ago because so many people were giving it 5 stars
You decided to give it a try
You put in your name and began the prologue

All of the guys seemed pretty cool to you, but for some reason Jimin stood out the most

"I'll sing to you all night if that makes you happy"

That last one.... it seemed as if it was actually meant for you
"Happiness...can this dating sim actually give me happiness?" You thought
You looked at his animation more and more
He did have an innocent look as the description had said
Soft brown eyes filled with curiosity, plump lips with a perfect pink shade, the perfect nose and skin clearer than the sky
He was the perfect human
Finally, you chose the Jimin guy. His saying had won you over, so you decided to see if he could really give you this happiness
You have chosen Park Jimin.
Enjoy the game and remember it is all fictional
As if you needed to be reminded that it was
You began playing the route and after 2 hours of playing, it was over.
"I'm happy you chose me, Y/N. I hope you found your happiness through me"
You sat up shocked. Was this game stalking you or something? Nahhh it was probably a coincidence
But, Park Jimin had now given you a slight bit of happiness. You felt joy for the first time in a while and....you liked it.
The game was over now though and now you had to face the real world again
Park Jimin had showed you how miserable you were in the real world.
You wanted to be the Y/N in the world with Jimin
But it wasn't reality.
You felt a lone tear slide down your cheek. You didn't understand why you were crying, but all the pain you had felt for the past year, all came out
That evening you spent an hour crying
Not only because of your terrible life, but also because you couldn't have this boy that made you happy unlike everyone else
What you didn't realize was that your phone had been on the whole time and as you cried....Jimin's heart broke
He was a sim and yet for the first time he had felt....pain?
Although many others had played this game and chosen him, you were the first to make him feel
And he was the first to make you feel in a while as well
You wiped your tears thinking about how dumb it is to cry over something like this
You went and changed for bed and turned off your phone
That day would be the reason for the biggest change of your life
And it would be for Jimin as well
