The rain poured heavily outside of NONA Tower, the building containing chosen people by the system of Sibyl, claimed to be the ones with great aptitude and the society's role model. The city light scattered on the skyscraper's window, blurry because of the pouring rain on the glass surface, but still beautiful as it is. Unfortunately some people in their office couldn't get to enjoy the view as their station didn't provided with any window.

No one talked at the moment in Division 2's office. Only some digital typing sound filled the room, and one middle aged guy humming his favorite rock song. [Name]'s (e/c) eyes were attached to the screen in front of her. The girl's slender fingers danced rhythmically on her keyboard, she typed a little bit faster than the usual that people could notice that she was in a hurry to finish whatever was opening in her computer.

[Name] were so focused on the task that she didn't notice one of the hunting dog were preying on her. With his hand still in his pocket, he stood up from his seat, slowly walked over to the girl's back and casually put his chin on the crown of her head.

"(l/n)-chan~ What are you doing so seriously..? Doesn't the deadline of the report are in 5 days after the case~?" The guy, Mitsuru Sasayama, took his peek on her computer screen, still resting his head as he please on her.

His disturbance surely didn't take the girl's focus nor eyes from the blinking screen. "I just want to write and finish it earlier because I have another very important thing to do this weekend, my dear colleague whose last report has to be revised and is already overdue.." She eyed him on his reflection in front of her. Whoops there she hits him hard.

"Ah.. ahaha. You know, babe, sometimes you have to let go of some small pebble in order to focus on the bigger picture in your life, am I right?" As always, he tried to dodge her lecture with whatever kind-of-quoting-from-you-don't-know-who. Nice try, but it never be able to win her tho.

As the room joined the conversation between you and Sasayama, the building speaker rang and some familiar voice of your superior, the head of the Ministry of Welfare's Public Safety Bureausounded to call an inspector from the Division 1, Kougami Shinya.

Divison 1 office.

The speaker rang and Kougami Shinya, one of the Inspector in Division 1 could hear his name mentioned as he was summoned by the MWPSB superior, Joshu Kasei. It's a little bit unusual to be summoned in such a time, it's almost midnight, didn't she also has to rest herself? But nobody know what kind of life that stoic old woman live in, and he had no choice but to pay her a visit.

"Just when I think I deserve some hot shower.. What kind of 'important' thing she want to tell me now.." Kougami half-heartedly packed his belongings, getting ready to left the room.

Kougami fetched his things and walked towards their superior's office. He never really liked her, there was something off with her, he couldn't mention it, but still it's there.
