Lost [Jungkook ff] (Ongoing)

5. Memories

The bell rang. The teacher collected the drawings and all students were leaving.
"Shall we leave?" Jungkook asked smiling. I nodded and we both rose from our seats.

"I have to go to my locker" I said as we left the class.

"That's all right, I am coming with you" he answered still smiling. We walked towards my locker. There was an awkward silence.

I kept some of my books in the locker.
"So what was it about" he asked suddenly. He was leaning against another locker.

" What?" I asked.
"The drawing. What was it about?" He repeated.
"Well it is sort of me" I answered.

Jungkook POV
I was thinking about her drawing. The girl looking at the stars was Ah Rin. The thought of it brought back many memories to my mind.
Flashback (2 years ago)

"Do you see those stars?" Ah Rin asked.
"Yes" I answered
"When I am not near you just stare at them. Then you can see me through them"  she pointed at the sky. We were sitting on a bench at a park.

"Never say that. You are always going to be with me." You are my best buddie right?"

"Right! My dear Kookie" she answered while ruffling my hair. We laughed together.

Flashback over

Ah Rin POV
"Ah Rin" someone called me from behind. It was Rose " come we are leaving".
"Bye Jungkook. See you tomorrow" I waved him good bye and smiled. He smiled back and I ran towards Rose.

"Slow down Ah Rin" Jungkook shouted behind me. I turned back. His expression was as if he cared about me. He somehow sounded like my mother. I turned and started walking. I don't usually do this. I don't obey my Mom then why him?

We met Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo at the gate. I bid them good bye and walked to the bus stop to catch my bus home.

I unlocked the door and got inside. Of course my Mom won't be at home. She works in a bank and returns late night. After I changed I sat down in front of the TV watching my favourite k-drama. It was  an hour episode, after it was finished I went to my room to study.

Time skip
It was 9 pm. I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. I am a good cook. My Mom will arrive maybe around 10.30 pm. She had another key of the front door so I don't have to come down to open the door for her. After I finished dinner I went to my bedroom to sleep.  My sister is living in an apartment with one of her friend. From now on she will be returning only during weekends.

Next morning...

I woke up and glanced at the clock. It was 6 am. I was suprised by the feeling of eagerness in me to go to college. I did my morning routine and wore a shirt and shorts. I packed my bag and rushed downstairs.

"Wahh!! You are up without shouting this morning" my Mom appreciated and laughed. I glared at her and said

"Very funny"
"So how was your first day?" She asked.

"It was wonderful. I have a number of friends. We befriended with a gang called BTS-" my mom's phone started ringing.
"Oh. It's manager" she took the call "hello?"
"Mom are you listening to me?"

"Yes continue darling" she encouraged. I was not sure she was listening but I continued.
"It is a gang of six boys. The three Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook is in the first year. Hoseok and Namjoo in the 2nd-"

"Oh really? I will check on to it" my Mom was answering the call. I felt irritated and hurried to go.

"Bye Ah Rin" my Mom called behind me. I didn't answer and went on.

The rest of the morning passed and it was lunch break.
"It's so boring after the class is over" Hoseok said while eating.
"Maybe you should go home and study something" Suga commented.

"I study better than you hyung" Hoseok said showing his tongue outside.
"What about we hang out somewhere?" I asked

"How about Mall?" Lisa commented.
"Sounds cool" Jimin agreed.

After the bell I hurried to my next class which was singing. Jungkook, Jennie and Taehyung were also with me.

"It's your first singing class, so why don't you all sing a song" the teacher encouraged" tomorrow's lesson will be on chords"

Everyone was discussing songs.
"Can we sing a duet?" I asked Jungkook. He first hesitated but then agreed.
When it was our turn we sang
'We don't talk anymore'

He was really good at singing. When we finished everyone congratulated us. But I noticed Jennie's face was grim.
After the class was over.
"Can I talk to Jungkook for a moment?" Jennie asked when we were about to leave.

"You can go on" Jungkook said to me. So I left with Taehyung.

Jungkook POV
I was standing with Jennie on the corridor.
"What are you up to Jungkook?" Jennie asked.
"What?" I was confused.

"Why have you returned to her life?"
