10. Pain

My head started to ache. I pressed my fingers to my temples, calming myself.

"Rotting head! Won't even allow me to think" I mumbled and decided it was best to go to sleep. I tried hard not to think and listened to the faint sound of clock. It lessened the pain and I eventually fell asleep.

Jungkook POV

I was talking with Taehyung on phone.

"So.. is this the same Ah Rin?" He asked.

"Yeah.. it is" I answered quietly.

"Then why are you both like you've never met before? You was her friend right?"

"No. For her I was not a friend" after a short pause "I am."

"What? I lost you"

"She doesn't know me" I said

"How in the world does she don't know you?" He was really confused.

"She don't remember me"

"Remember you? You were her friend since childhood. Since you were kids" he was like mad or something.

"Taehyung. Something happened to her which erased me completely from her mind. That is the only information you are going to get"

"But I don't understand"

"That's it hyung. I am going to sleep" I hung up

#Next morning#
Ah Rin POV

I woke up in the morning and glanced at the clock.

"7.30???" I screamed
"Why didn't the stupid alarm ring. I am God damn late" I rushed towards the bathroom to get ready. After a quick shower I wore one of my white shorts, a short top and a jacket. I grabbed my bag and rushed downstairs.

"Ah Rin breakfast is ready" Mom told me.

"I am not eating mom. I am already late". I put on my shoes and hurried towards the door.

"Eat dear" Mom compelled.

"I am really sorry Mom. BYE!" I ran towards the bus stop.

I saw the bus waiting. I increased my speed so that I won't miss it. I climbed the bus in time panting. I held on to the seat for support and controlled my breathing.

I slowly walked towards the seat near Yura.

"What happened? You are late" she tapped her wrist watch.

"Woke up late" I said as sitting

"The bus was already late and we waited at your stop for some Minu or so. I am sure we will be late for class."

"It's been only 3 days since class started. I don't want to get a detention" I groaned.

#Skip time#

Thank God! I reached my class before the second bell. But teacher was already in class

"You are late Ms. Lee. What happened?" He asked.

"The.. the bus was late"

"Mmh.. get in and don't repeat this"

"Yes sir" I replied and went to take my seat. He started taking class attendance.

I smiled at Jennie and Rose before sitting next to Jungkook. He smiled at me pleasantly and I smiled back.

"Why late?" He asked.

"I over slept"

"Why? You reached home like 10 right?"

"Yeah I did. But I was not able to sleep. Bad head ache"

"Did you see a doctor?" He looked concerned now.

"Doctor?" I chuckled softly." I have it most of the time. It's not a problem".

"AH RIN" The teacher called." Are you deaf? Say present. Otherwise I will put absent!"

"Present sir" I obeyed.

"Sorry" Jungkook mouthed when I glanced at him.

"Apology accepted" I whispered back.

Me and Rose had song writing the next hour. The others were leaving for the dance class.

"Bye Ah Rin. Let's meet at our regular table at break" Jennie said before leaving.

"Sure thing" I smiled.

Me and Rose started walking towards the next class.
"How's Reina doing?" I asked as we walked through the corridor. Reina is Rose's little sister.

"She's doing great. She has been asking to see you sometime. No, demanding maybe the right word" she chuckled.

"Lisa is planning to have a sleepover soon. You should come okay? Bring Reina too".

"I will ask Mom" and we entered the class. We took seats next to each other. After a few minutes the teacher entered the class.

Song writing didn't have much students, only about 20. So the whole 11th grade was together. I think the same goes for dance.

After Ms. Shi started the class a guy entered the class.

"Sorry. I am late" he bowed slightly and walked to take a seat. Ms Shi just nodded. From his behaviour I think he didn't even meant what he said.

I turned my attention back to the teacher. I heard the chair on my other side move, so I concluded that he may have sat there. I didn't bother to glance at him and kept my eyes in my notes.

"Woah.. Isn't this my dear Ah Rin?"
