Ariana woke up to the feel of Klaus' arms wrapping tighter around her, and she couldn't have been happier in that moment.

"morning." he whispered.

"hi." she replied, looking up at him through tired eyes. he placed a soft kiss to her lips, and looked into her eyes.

"we're staying like this all day." he concluded.

"oh?" the Salvatore asked. he nodded with a small 'mhm'

"yup. no Silas. no cure. no helping those people or my sister. just, for once, the two of us." he smirked, pulling the cover over the two of them, starting a small conversation under them like it was normal.

"why?" she asked with a suspicious.

"because, I never get days off, nevertheless with you, love. so, this is our day. not elena's, no. we do not mention that name today. I just want to stay with you." he said with a small smile, his fingers walking up her thigh to her stomach.

"you're so cute right now." she smirked, running a hand through his messy hair. he smiled up at her like a puppy.

"I don't know what you're talking about, love you should be terrified of the big bad hybrid." he said, crawling on top of her figure, hovering over her and placing multiple kisses on her lips.

"yeah?" she giggled. he smiled, looking down to her.

"today, we have the stars. we hold the cards," he said softly, caressing her cheek. "now, breakfast." he smirked, grabbing her hand and standing up. he tossed her one of his dress shirts close to him, sent a wink, then walked down the stairs happily, and Ariana could not get the smile off her lips.

-

Ariana walked down to the sweet smell of something in the kitchen, and she truly did like the sight she was met with. Niklaus was making the two breakfast with a tablecloth thrown over his shoulder. she smirked and walked over to him, running a hand up his shoulder. he smiled at her action.

"what are you making?" she asked, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"I do hope you like pancakes." he spoke with a smile.

"classic." she smiled.she sat herself down on one of the tall stools by the island, and watch the his exposed back muscles flex when he moved a little. she admired the small triangle on his back with a small smile.

"now you better not judge me, because English pancakes are much better than American." he said, beginning to place the food on separate plates.

"what makes them different?" Ariana asked, entranced by the man before her.

"well, English are better." he said simply.

"wanna bet?" she asked with a smile.

"I don't need to love, I know I'm right. American ones are too much. but English, oh, you can get enough."

"are we talking about the pancakes?" she asked, watching him sit down next to her,

"pancakes, irresistible hybrids, same thing." she let out a small giggle, and tested his cooking skills.

"why don't you look more often?" she asked, digging quickly into the food before her. he let out a chuckle.

"too busy to eat human food." he shrugged.

"well food never gets old, so, keep cooking." she ordered. he watched her with a smile. "I cant cook for shit so, you can make the pancakes every day!" he stood up quickly, taking her waist in his big hands and hauling her over to where the stove was.
