Virat had just arrived home after a long and exhausting gym session where he worked out for two hours straight and an hour extra for some weight lifting. To say he was impressed would be an understatement. He was beyong ecstatic about his present state. Being born to a Punjabi family, he had always found himself an extreme food-lover (perhaps someone who could've never thought of dieting and shit). He remembered how his cheeks looked just a year ago; although he had to admit, he had a long way to go. This was just the beginning of something he was trying to put all his efforts on.
He decided to take a shower and after what seemed like twenty minutes later, he turned the shower off and fell onto his bed, his towel hanging by his torso in a knot. He took out his phone and checked Instagram. His face immediately lightened up upon seeing a particular post.

Virat smiled looking at the picture; she was looking too cute. He still cannot believe they have been friends for such a long time now. It all started with the ad and now, it has been almost a month of their friendship. They texted and called one another on an almost daily basis. And although Virat did not know what Anushka felt, he was sure he was starting to feel a lot towards her.
It all started with a few random texts for him but soon he realized that this girl was anything but random. Maybe it was her honesty or cheerfulness; maybe it was her smile or her laugh when she talked; maybe it was her kindness and her good heart; he didn't know what it was but he knew he was falling hard. And somehow he thought she would be the death of him.
He couldn't control himself and called her. After five seconds of ringing, she finally picked up.
Anushka: Hello?
Virat: Bahut busy ho shayad comments and wishes padhke. Mujhe toh bhool hi gayi.
Anushka: Oh ho! But Virat, we talked over the phone for an hour yesterday. Itni attention chahiye kya Mr Kohli ko?
Virat: Haan chahiye toh! Miss Sharma is my only friend. Isn't she?
Anushka: Only? Are you sure, mister?
Virat: Haha okay yeh sab choro aur batao, aaj free rahogi?
The only thing that was strange was that they have never met after the ad shoot. Both of them knew how risky it was because as soon as the ad was aired, Virat and Anushka made headlines in front pages as the new IT COUPLE. It was humorous to both of them because how could someone tag you that way without knowing anything? However, Virat loved the fact that they were termed as a couple. He thought they looked good together. Anyway, meeting was therefore never an option. If the paparazzi were to find them together, they'd be risking their own lives and they both were simple people who didn't want any extra attention.
