Home sweet home

Hannah's POV
The nurse dismissed me and said I was in perfect health. Surprisingly! And that someone was coming to collect me I wasn't sure who but let's just hope there is no more vampires for a while. If I had a choice I'd chose forever but, forever is a very long time.

After I had packed up the little I had and changed out of that extremely unflattering hospital gown. I waiting patiently for someone to pick me up. Waiting and hoping it would be my dad, I'm pretty sure he's dead. It hurts to even think it but. I chose to believe otherwise. Finally my saviour arrive, Liz. I loved Liz she was basically my mum. But she was Caroline's mother and god I'm sure Caroline's involved in this vampire business. But I gonna pretend nothing has happened, to do with vampires.

She took me to her house luckily Caroline was out and wouldn't be back till later. as soon as Caroline arrived I knew she would call Stephan and tell him I'm here. I told Liz that I was upset about my dad, yes I confirmed it he is..... dead!
Anyway I told Liz I didn't want to speak to Stephan and she said it was fine and she wouldn't force me. Caroline's been back a while I can hear she's on the phone to someone probably Stephan. I was in my room I basically live here so I already had a room set up.

I've been staying at Caroline's for about a week but Liz said I had to go back and live with Stephan that it was illegal for her to keep me any longer. And being the sherif she had to stick to the law. Caroline was taking me over there and the car ride was awkwardly silent. I could feel Caroline looking at me every so often. I just looked out the window praying that she wouldn't say anything. Thankfully she didn't and we arrive quicker than I thought. I only had one bag so I could carry it in fine by myself. "I'm not a child Caroline I can carry my own bag" I said to her trying not to sound irritated. She put her hands up in surrender and walked inside me following closely behind. The first person I saw was Damon looking very happy with himself, even when he saw me come in. "Hey how's my favourite human" he said sarcastically, my faces dropped. Omg is he kidding. "Damon what the hell?" Elena lectured him. I don't say anything I just swiftly walked upstairs to my room. "Hey come on I knew Zach was bad at parenting. But jeez manners" he shouting just before I reached the top of the staircase. I turned back to look at him, tears brimming in my eyes. When he realised my expression his face dropped. I ran to my room slamming the door. Sliding down the bathroom door, pulling my knee to my chest crying my eyes out. I'm living with a blood sucking maniacs.

Damon's POV
I was looking forward to seeing Hannah again, I kinda feel bad. But not gonna let any know that. Caroline came in with a clearing nervous Hannah behind. "Hey how's my favourite human." I said sarcastically. Elena was lecturing me but I ignore her and watched Hannah. She rudely ignored me and went to go up the stairs. " come on I knew zach was bad at parenting. But jeez manners" I shouted as she got near the top of the stairs. She turned and looked straight at me. She was trying not to cry, oh god. I forgot she only just found out about zach. She ran to her room and slammed the door.

Hannah has been upstairs crying for hours. Everyone left so it was just me and Stephan. He was ignoring me cause I upset her. Her crying slowly came to a stop, she fell asleep. I went up to her room and open the bathroom door. To see her small frame curled in a tight ball in the far corner of the room. I was heartbroken, I tried to convince Stephan to let me compel her to forget. To forget and a loving normal family but he refused. I lifted her in a bridal still and tucked her into bed. I planted a small kiss in her forehead. Then left her to sleep peacefully. God let's hope klaus doesn't find out about her.
