Dangerous Territory

chapter 1

"Courtney! Are you coming to the party tonight?" I heard Lilly yell from across the hall.

"I don't know Lills, you know what my father is like"

 My father never lets me do anything. If he knew half of the stuff that my friends and I got up to it would not be pretty.

 "Can't you just sneak out? Tell him your staying at my house and I can get my sister to pretend to be my mum and cover for you."

 "What if he finds out?"

 "He won't Court, just come!"

 There was a party by the lake tonight and everyone was going. As much I want to go if my father was to find out I would be in so much trouble and my father has an odd way of punishing me, usually with violence.

 Lilly looked at me with pleading eyes and I took a deep breath and sighed.

 "Fine I'll go. But your sister needs to boost her lying game." I grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the exit.

 "I'll text Rosey now." Lilly grinned.

 Rosey is Lilly's older sister. Lilly and Rosey have been like family to me since my mother died 7 years ago in a car accident. Ever since then my father has become an abusive alcoholic. Lilly and Rosey are the only ones that know about my father's abusive habits however everyone knows about my fathers' other habits and his anger issues.

 Lilly and I started to make our way to where the school buses were waiting in between the two large high schools.

 We go to an all girl's school called St Marys and there is an all boys school called St Lukes in the next block. The schools are technically the same school just different campuses.

 "hey look there's Zayn" Lilly nodded to a group of boys walking out of the gates of St Lukes, towards the school buses.

 Lilly has had a thing for Zayn for a while now and I'm sure that he has a thing for her as well. Lilly was beautiful, she had long black hair and a great figure.

 When we arrived to the bus stop the guys had made their way over to us.

 "Hey Lilly, hey Courtney" Zayn smiled at Lilly, not even making eye contact with me. He was so into her. They started to chat together so I decided to talk  to the other guys.

"Hey Niall" I smiled to the blonde boy standing closest to me.

 "Hey Court, you coming tonight?" He asked.

 "Seriously Niall? Of course miss goody two shoes isn't coming" Louis mocked.

 "Oh shut up Louis, you of all people know she isn't as innocent as she seems." Blake wiggled his eyebrows at Louis. I rolled my eyes at the two of them and turned my attention back to Niall.

 "I am actually" I said it loud enough for the others to hear.

 "Oh awesome, well I guess we will see you there." I liked Niall. He was that guy that has never tried anything with me, never made a dirty joke towards me and I have known him since I was 6.

Lilly and I's bus pulled up and I waved good bye to Niall and the others.

 "C'mon Lil, our bus is here" I ushered Lilly away from the handsome boy that she was drooling over.

 "Well I will see you later then" Lilly waved goodbye to Zayn and I just smiled at him as we walked away and got on the bus.

 "I'll get off at your stop and we can grab some clothes and stuff and then walk back to mine?" Lilly asked.
