Sabine Pov

Slowly opening my eyes. I adjust to the light that greets me. Taking in my surroundings. I realise where I am. I'm imprisoned aboard a Star Destroyer. Great, no weapons, no helmet, no comm. No bombs or paint stuff. I'm going to die of boredom in here.

Sighing, I lean against the wall for sometime. Thinking over this. Soon, the cell door opens and two Stormtroopers enter. Upon their shoulders is the Chimera symbol. Who the hell is this guy. And why do I think he works for Thrawn. "Alright Rebel Scum, the Captian wants you treated fairly. Some bullshit about culture and that. I don't care, now get moving." The troopers roughly push me out.

I watch as the two stormtroopers push Sabine into my office roughly. Narrowing my eyes. I speak. "Stormtroopers, I gave specific orders that our... guest was to be treated with respect. Disobey me again and my father will hear of this." I watch as Sabine eyes the two troopers.

Sitting down in my chair, I motion towards the chair opposite me. She seems hesitant. "Verd, gedet'ye." I watch as she widens her eyes. "You know Mandalorian?" I smirk. "Mando'ad draar digu" Relaxing back. I watch as she sits down.

"Your names Ezra?" I close me eyes. "Er'za'nuruodo Kryze." Sabine blinked. "What kind of name is that?" I sigh. "Chiss, same as my father, Mitth'raw'nuruodo. But you can call me Ezra." I watch as Sabine thinks for a few seconds. "You look like Grand Admiral Thrawn?" I pull up an image of Thrawn. A small child in his arms. "Thrawn, simple, but easier then saying his real name."

Sabine pov

I analyse the image. Thrawn was holing a small child. He seemed to be no more then a month or two old. Looking up at Ezra, I widen my eyes. "You... You're" Ezra sighs. "Thrawn is my father." I blink. The who's his mother. "And your mother?" Ezra glances towards a set of armour. "She gave me this and left me in the hands of my father." Ezra pulls out the Dark Saber and eyes me.

I widen my eyes further. "You're mother, that amour. You're..." Ezra places the Dark Saber away. "Bo Katan Kryze is my mother. But she left me for reasons that I don't know about." I sit back, watching as Ezra looks at the image of his father. I can't believe that he's the son of our greatest foe. And here is his son, talking to me, not as enemies, but as... comrades.

"Sabine You joined the Rebellion, why?" I close my eyes. Do I tell him. "You should already know." Ezra leans forward. "I do, but I want to hear it from you. Imperial records can be very... biased" I open my eyes. "I joined the Rebellion sometime after being a bounty hunter because of what I did in the past. The weapon I completely destroyed and wipe records from. I wasn't happy about it. I joined because Mandalore is being forced under Empires rule. Taking away what defines us."

Ezra leans back. "I too have seen what the Empire is like. I spent three years in the Imperial Academy at Coruscant. Each year, every day. I faced the same people. Each time, they insulted me, bullied me. Even the Emperors protection can so far." I saw a new side of Ezra. A side that was different. It was only now that I realised my leg didn't hurt like hell. Glancing down, I see that it feels fine.

"My leg?" Ezra chuckles. "I never had any intention of physical harming you. But you forced my hand. I simply dislocated your knee, rendering you crippled for a time till I fixed it." I then remember the short amount of pain I felt when everything was black. He put my knee back in place. "Why?"

Ezra sighed. "The Empire's planning something big. The Emperor is not who you think, nor is Lord Vader. My father is smart, but even he can follow fools." I blink. Not sure where he's headed with this. "What do you mean?" Ezra closed his eyes. The eyes were red. But there was a small tint of blue to them. And he seemed so cute. Why am I thinking that. I can't fall for the enemy. That's not right.

"The Empire is falling. And no one can save it. The Death Stars destruction ensured the beginning of the end. But the Emperor is determined to see your friends ended." Ezra sighed. "But, why do you follow them then?" He closed his eyes as he glanced down at the table. He removed the image. "I have nowhere else to go."

I widen my eyes. He had nowhere else to go. But why? "Why? Why not your people, or you mother?" He sighed. "I'm not exactly going to be welcomed by my fathers side. They don't like hybrid people. And my mother left me with this stuff, but never her care. I had to learn all I could from my father." I closed my eyes. He doesn't want to face his past. I don't either. But it's not something we can't hide from forever.

"Ezra, you can't hide from your mother forever. Someone's going to go looking for the Dark Saber to unite Mandalore. And when they do, they'll fight you to the death for it. I know because I'm going to have to face my past as well. And I don't look forward to it." Ezra sighed. "I guess you're right. I'm just not ready. I still don't know why my mother left me with the Dark Saber." I think.

"You know, I think she left it with you because she knows that you would lead Mandalore better then she would. I think she left you because she knew Thrawn would teach you leadership better then she could. I think she meant for you to be taught all these things by Thrawn. Because she loves you and wants what's best for you. And I can see that, But you have to accept that you're going to have to face her and that she will end up following you."

Ezra nods. "I see. For now, you have access to my office area, the training room, the guest room that I've had reserved for mother if she ever came. But you are not allowed to leave this area. A heavy guard will be stationed outside the office area." I nod. He wasn't sending me back to the cell. Why?
