Last Bite

I stumbled a little and I looked back to see him on my spot. Ah, so he can attack very fast. I slapped myself so I will sense his next attacks.

"It begins..." He trailed off before disappearing

I tried to sense him. I looked behind and elbowed his nape. He winced in pain and while he's at it, I formed an ice glove around my hand and punched him simultaneously. I ended with an uppercut and kicked him hard in the groin.

He didn't react or anything. He just laid down the ground.

"You think that's the real Damon you're fighting?"

I jumped back and I see no one. Is he tricking me?

"Where are you?" I shouted

Silence.

I began to get paranoid because it's been too long since he disappeared and maybr ran off to somewhere. But I can't just let him escape. I have to end this war.

I closed my eyes and formed ice claws between my knuckles and just randomly slashed everywhere. I look like an idiot but this is just the easiest way of finding him.

I heard a cry in front of me so I just followed the path. Every slash hits him so I think I already found the real Damon. I hope so.

"Come out, Damon!" I shouted

"Never!" He shouted back

I punched the ground and formed a large ice cage so he can't escape. Blood are everywhere but it's evaporating quickly.

I grabbed his neck and his image is slowly forming in front of me. He is struggling and I tightened my grip.

"Stop the war or I'll kill you!"

He smirked and laughed wickedly, "You think you can kill me?"

He paused, "Or Damon?"

I realized that I'm still fighting with a dummy. I pushed the dummy away from me and I jumped out of the cage. I closed the cage, killing the dummy inside.

"Where the fuck are you?!"

Damon chuckled, "I'm just here, enjoying watching your fight with my dummies"

I can't sense nor smell him but I can clearly hear where he is. I was just preoccupied with the dummies that I almost forgot to use my ears. I'm not werewolf though, I'm just saying.

"No need to be frustrated, Ms. Hirai. Just give up and let werewolves rule"

"Never..." I mumbled

"I can't hear you, Ms. Hirai"

"Never!" I shouted and I made it rain with snow so I can clearly see him now.

"W-What?!" He said before I clawed him in the chest

He winced in pain while slowly reappearing before my eyes. He remained down and he's panting heavily. I gripped his head and pulled it so he is facing to me.

"You're not smart as I thought you would be"

He smirked, "You're as dumb as you could possibly be"

My eyes widened when someone kicked me in the head. I groaned in pain. I can't see clearly and the powerful kick shook my body senses.

I rolled to the side so I could use my arms to stand up but I end up lying back down the ground.

"I never thought your power is Ice or Frost or whatever you call it. Usually, vampires are only vampires without powers. Oh yeah, you're an Alpha. Well, I don't know why you call yourself an Alpha when you're not a werewolf. But your father said that an Alpha vampire is the strongest among all creatures."
