Vol. 1 Chapter 5 : Trip to the Capital

It's been a few days after Felix checked my gate. I've been doing well and is able to control my magic pretty well.. Well, i wouldn't call being able to use only one debuff great. but it's better than nothing..

Right as i was cleaning the hallway, Crusch Karsten. The head of the household called me.

"Eijirou-kun, come here for a while."

she said.

"What is it Crusch-san?"

"The royal administration has called me regarding the royal selection, and would you like to come along?"

that is a very weird question, why would she want a servant of her sister's to be with her.

To find out what she was aiming for i asked her.

"Why would i need to go?"

"The problem is, I asked Violet-chan to go with me, but she won't go. Saying that she wants to stay here."

"Then what's wrong with that?"

she smirked at me and said.

"The house will only be occupied by you two.."

hearing that i blushed and said "If you're thinking i'm gonna do something that i'm not supposed to do. Don't worry, i won't do it."

"That's not the point, She mainly wants to stay here because of you. I also want her to take a look at the main kingdom of Lugnica."

I thought to myself that it would be a great opportunity to sightsee around the world. And maybe i'll get to spend time together with Violet-chan in the capital.

"You do know i can hear you right."

she said.

"EH?!"

"Geez, you're hopeless. So you're going right?"

she asked again.

"Yep. I'll try my best to convince her."

After the conversation ended, i walked to the kitchen and brewed some tea for Violet and me.

After finally brewing it, i brought it to her room and talked about the royal selection.

After minutes of persuading she finally agreed to go with me.

We will leave by tomorrow morning, and so. We prepared everything we need to go.

While i was packing things, Violet called out to me.

"Eijirouuuu."

a long call that can be heard across the hallway, was Violet calling me.

I walked to Violet's room and asked what's going on.

"Eijirou-kun, Is this yours?"

she said while pointing at what seems to be.. my backpack?

"Man, why is this here?"

i asked.

"When you first arrived here, you were found with this on your back."

"Hm.."

"What is it?"

"I can't seem to remember anything about the past.."

"I was referring to the item."

"Oh, it's called a backpack!"

"Ba-ack pack?"

"Yes! It's a tool that can be used to carry stuff around and it can be putted on your back."

"I see... It looks like how a leather pouch would if it's really puffed."
