I had to go to the ATM one day in order to get money out. When I arrived, I saw that there was already a line to the ATM. A one car line, but a line nonetheless. I looked around the car, trying to see the other car, and I saw this man. The man was not in a car, however. This little 70 or 80 year old man was at the drive-up ATM...sitting on a walker. He was getting money out while sitting on one of those rolling walkers. I had never seen anything like that before.
The other car did not have the patience to wait, so they zoomed around the ATM and carried on. A few seconds after they left, the man left the ATM. He did not go that far, though, for he sat in front of the barrier between the parking lot of the bank and the ATM.
A couple of days later, I took my grandma to the same bank. As we pulled into the parking lot, I saw the man and began to laugh. I told my grandma the story about the man in the walker at the ATM. She was laughing so hard that she would have been rolling on the floor if we were not in a vehicle.
