I had this internship at the Democratic Office in my city, and it was freaking lit. One day, we travelled to a small town about three hours away from us. Here is a recap of what happened:
-We dropped off a girl in a city that was near the small town because she had to go home (to freaking BRITAIN).
-After that, we ended up having to do a U-Turn by going to the next exit on the highway because we were going in the wrong direction of where the town was.
-There was no cell/internet service, so we could not let the people that were hosting the event know that we were going to be a bit late. We ended up being there on time, but there was still no internet/cell service.
-Eating quiche for dinner.
-The host of the event made a whole bunch of quiches.
-Probably over 20 quiches.
-There was the cute little lady (who I believe was about 92 at the time) who registered to get her ballot in her mailbox. She had a hard time hearing me, but she was super adorable.
-On the way back, we had a conversation about NASCAR.
-We also compared the other intern to a big toe.
