Casey's POV
"Fern... wake up!" says dad while knocking outside my room's door
"Dad it's Casey! don't call me Fern! that's my second name though." I replied, leaning on my bed's head board.
ayoko pa bumaba. kaantok kaya!

summer kaya.it means walang pasok. ehh si Daddy lang naman ehh... masyadong OA babalik na kasi siya sa America bukas. by the way i'm Casey Fern Miller. 18 years old. I'm half Filipino and half American. My mom Evelyn Grace Saavedra died because of me, but my dad told me that it's not my fault. it is god's will. she died because of a car accident. im only 3 years old that time. I am playing,but suddenly the ball roll on the road, I followed the ball. I did'nt notice the upcoming vehicle. So, my mom run and save me. you know... And my dad Sebastian Miller is a retired Military Sergeant, but he's a scientist there in America now.

inayos ko na yung sarili ko para makababa na. sumilip muna ako sa bintana ng kwarto ko kung saan kita yung garden at pool namin. nasa second floor ako ehh. nakita ko si Dad na nakaupo sa upuan na malapit sa pool. agad naman akong bumaba dahila alam ko na yung lugar ng target. nakalimutan kong ichika saenyo! si Mommy nga pala ay dating lawyer,private detective/investigator,spy. ang astig nga niya ehh. marunong din ako sa mga baril,arnis,badminton,martial arts atsaka maalam rin akong gumamit ng mga knives,swords specially samurai. deadly no. pero wag kayong magalala, for self defense lang to!
dumiratso ako sa likod ni Daddy plano ko siyang gulatin ehh.
"Darling, what are you doing there?" dad says
"Awww.... Dad! how did you know?" i said. i hug him. sweet ist't it?
"Fer-" -dad
"Dad??" i said using my warning tone
"What? is it bad to call you using a flower's name?" he said."Fern is your mom's favorite flower." he added
"Yah i know. love you dad!" i said with my sweet voice.
"Breakfast?" he asked
"YUP!" i excitedly said. im hungry!
"Come on inside. make sure all the passage are all locked!" dad warned me, then laugh
we immidietly went inside our house then go to the kitchen.
"Dad, let me!" i said while pulling my dad on his chair in the dinning room. it's about time to serve him
"My daughter is so sweet!" dad exclaimed. he always says that i look like mom.
after i finished fixing our food i immidietly went at ou dinning room.
"Here you go" i said while laughing. im talking to our food while serving it.
"Thank you." my dad says then smile
"Dad, do you still have to go there?" i asked
"Yes sweety, there's an emergency." he replied
"What was thet emergency all about?" i asked again
"Remember the serum that we formulated?" he asked
"Which one? is it the serum that can make you live forever or alive again?" i asked
"Yup." he replied
"What is it all about?"
"The test subject escaped." he said while finishing his food
"You have'nt told me about that test subject. what happened?" i was shocked because he always tells me all about their project. all angles.
"It came in to a mutant" he's serious
"Mutant what?" i asked again
"Mutant rat." he says while he drinks his coffee. it's my coffee blend. it's special
"Is it dangerous?" i asked
"Yes, it is." he says. he's reading a newspaper
"Ohhhh.... Take care." i said. im amazed? "Is it infectious?" i asked
"Yes. i thin. we from organization thinks." he says
"It's infectious huh?! how?" -me
"We don't know. All that we conclued is... It changes the appearance of the infected." he says. then his phone rings
"Dad, caller." i said
"Oh excuse me for a while." he stand up ang walk up stairs
Sebastians's POV
"Hello?" i answer my phone
"Dr. Seb. we already found the rat." it's Nicolas my assistant
"Really? Good!"
"But sir something bad happened."
"What is it?"
"One of the staff was bitten"
"What happened?"
"Sir, we'll send a helicopter there. there's a riot here. and the test subject is dead. many people here in the stablishment are infected."
"Ok i'll wait in the air base"
Casey's POV
"Casey, I have to go now." dad says. he's with his baggage
"But dad you told me that you'll leave tomorrow?" i argue
"Sorry Fern, but there's an emergency." dad looks sad.
"Oh. sorry dad. i will miss you." i said then stand up and hug him. "Dad are you crying?" i ask. i feel his sobs
"I'll miss you Casey Fern. Dad loves you. always remember that." then he kiss me on my forehead.
"I'll drive you to the airport." i said
"No thanks honey. take care. the weapons are there. make sure that the gates,doors and all the passage are all close." he says
"Ok dad. Can my friends stay together with me?" i ask
"Yes honey. but always take care. i'll go then" he close the door.
ayan ala na si dad. makakagamit na ako ng tagalog. kinuha ko yung cellphone ko at tinext yung mga friends ko. after non umakyat ako sa kwarto. nakalock naman lahat ng pinto ehh.

5:30 pm na? grabe naman akong matulog. bumaba na ako at binukasyung lahat ng ilaw. nakita ko naman yung konting collection ng guns and weapons namin. ganda!!
kumuha ako ng cereals at pumunta sa sala para makapanood ng tv. balita pa pala
pero wait. what? magulo sa america? pero pano si Daddy? wait. anong nangyare sa reporter? yuck! what was that?
may kumakalampag sa labas ng gate!
