I was working overtime today on Christmas waving goodbye to the others as they take boats and head back home and relax and enjoy times with their families. I continue typing on the computer and the last persons step is echoed around and gone like that I'm all alone. I pull up a picture of Lusamine smiling with me beside her. That was years ago but it changed now her children have completely avoided her and she pushed everyone away that was to close to her. But me she kept closer asking for me to give her new research despite not even having any new data just saying she wants to hear my voice. I resume my typing and hear the clicking of heels and I don't even bother looking behind me and take a drink from my mineral water enjoying the taste and I see a finger glide onto my shoulder as though tracing it.
"Hello Ms. Lusamine."

Lusamine: "Drop Ms. I sound old."
"Despite in your 30's you mighty fine for a woman."
Lusamine: "Do I hear flirting?"
"If I care. What brings you by this lovely night of Christmas?"
Lusamine: "Christmas. The time of celebrating with your own family. How could I if my own flesh and blood resent me and I push everyone away."
"Not me."
Lusamine: "How about you?"
"Heh what family. I was an outcast. They said I would never amount to anything. Wanna know what my mother said 'You see your always running away and never pushing forward.' How could I if I was being held back an impossible family."
Lusamine: "I know what you mean (Y/N). But we are survivors of nothing. Care to take a stroll with me?"
I close my computer and extend my arm.
"M'lady."
Lusamine: "Such a gentleman."
She loops her arm with mine and we walk out of the room and into the habitat for Pokémon that the others saved. Admiring the Pokémon with their family sleeping in a night full of happiness. We go down the hallway inspecting the other Pokémon and soon we go to the top and see the night sky while in the middle of the a flower patch she installed.
