Siv Sigfrid
Another day where you can hear the students' complaints on the campus grounds. The unsettling feeling while walking down through the corridor hits me, and now, my ex is walking towards my direction. I'm sure he's still hoping that we'll be as we were on our past. I am sure as hell that we won't be the way we used to be, after all of the things he did to me? Nah, no more shit bitch.
"Hey" he calls me the way we used to call each other.
"Hey" I responded coldly.
"So, have you thought about it?"
"I just told you Jake, enough is enough. I'm not dumb to fall for your lies twice in a row. Plus, it's your fault why we broke up."
"Yes, you're right" at last, he admi-
"But nothing will change, I would still court you whatever happens. I'll prove that I deserve a second chance in your life Siv." Then he fucking kissed me?! I slapped him hard on both cheeks, and suddenly the students walking on the hallway stared at us.
"SIV!" he calls as I run away from him. No, no more. I can't take it anymore.
I won't let this be a hindrance of me being the voice of every student.
The bell for the next subject rang. I sighed deeply remembering what that subject is, philosophy. Our philosophy professor often makes us analyze and observe about every small detail. He also makes sure that the deduction is correct. He's not that strict but I don't know why my classmates like it while I hate it so much.
As I enter the room, my best friend, Bea Dubois waved hi at me.
"Hey Siv, is Jake still trying to win you back?" she asks sarcastically before sitting on the chair beside me.
"Well, yeah. And it pisses me off, all he does is to bother me every time he sees me." I cringed on my chair. It's obvious right? Let me tell you a thing he did that annoyed me so much.
Here he goes again, showing off to the whole campus just to make me feel guilty of not giving him a second chance. I'll let him think what he wants to think but I would never change my mind. What's done is done, he can't change it anymore.
"Hi Siv Sigfrid, the one and only love of my life, will you please give me a second chance?" He speaks on the megaphone with matching black cardboards with letters written on them: P-L-E-A-S-E B-E M-I-N-E A-G-A-I-N.
Oh gosh. When will this jerk stop? I saw a megaphone held by one of his companions and spoke onto it.
"Hell no!" And suddenly he became a laughing-stock. I grinned as I walked away but he said something that made me turn back.
"Didn't you like how my lips tasted? You did like it right? YOU even savored every last bit of it! Hahaha!" I went walking straight up to him then slapped him hard.
"Asshole!" What the fuck? He just laughed at me?!
"You're so cute when you're angry" I kicked him on his balls and the campus grounds were filled with laughter.
"Serves you right jerk!" I walked away as soon as possible.
Now you know why I'm so pissed at him. And not just that, he kissed me in front of a bunch of students! Well, I just had my revenge so I need to keep my cool.
Our philosophy professor entered, carrying stacks of handouts to be read by us. Oh hell, here it is again.
"I want you to read this and be prepared for a quiz next week, understood?" He asked before handing the handouts.
"Yes, sir" some of us answered while the others sighed.
"Hey, there he is" Bea points at Jake as he enters the room. Hahaha, he's late again after fixing the mess he did.
"Mr. Augustus, meet me later 4-5:00 PM for your detention. Mr. Crisostomo said without looking away from the board.
"Yes, sir. Sorry" He said as he walked to his seat in front.
"Hi again, Siv" He turned to look at me.
"Shut up" I annoyingly said to him. Then Bea whispered to me.
"Siv, how do you plan on changing the school system? You know that it's merely impossible and besides- oh here she goes again -where do you plan on starting it? I mean, would you start first with how corrupt the professors are or you'll start it grande?" I giggled at the thought, but it might be effective. I answered.
"Well, I might start it grande. Thanks for your suggestion" She only laughed. That's why we're best friends. She supports me on everything I plan to do.
I smiled at her and asked, "Will you help me?" We leaned close to each other, face to face.
"Absolutely" Uh-oh. Mr. Crisostomo was already in front of us.
"Detention, you two, 4-5:00 PM with Mr. Augustus." DAMN, why does it need to be with him?
"Okay, Sir." We both answered. I mouthed sorry to Bea and she mouthed to me something like It's alright then smiled. I smiled back.
Then Mr. Crisostomo continued the lecture. He talked about how Greeks developed their minds about philosophy, and also the other philosophers too.
As the bell rang for recess. Juliana came with me to buy some snacks. She bought two orange juice and two bags of Piattos chips.
Suddenly, a flock of students, mostly women were gathering on the campus grounds. I asked Bea why, but she shrugged, admitting the lack of knowledge as to why there is a commotion happening.
I quickly turned my gaze on the spot uncovered and saw a handsome and tall guy, difficulted on finding his way out of the circle. I hear muffled voices saying "I'm more handsome and tall than him, hmph" and "A new student."
We decided to take a look before the Principal dispersed the students making the commotion. The student thanked our principal for doing that and made his way out and wait, is he? Oh no.
"Uhm, miss? Can you show me around the University?" He gently asked me. HOLY SHIT, did he just walk towards me? I stuttered but I was able to answer him.
"Y-yes" Then I heard Bea laugh.
"Go on, give him a quick tour Siv," Bea said and I mouthed her why me?! Then she gave me a thumbs up. Argh, I have no choice anymore. This guy looks kind so why not? Also, he's handsome. That makes up for my annoyance earlier.
"Alright, come with me" I told him and turned to walk. I noticed him following. Then he said something I didn't hear quite well.
"May you please repeat that?" I tilted my head on his direction.
"I said, thank you, Miss?" he repeated as if asking my name.
"Oh, I'm Siv and you are?" I asked without glancing at him.
"I'm Denrick Watson" And now, he's walking by my side.
I started off the tour on the first building of the school premises.
