CHAPTER 9

RYDERS POV. 

I dropped Amy off at her house and made my way home.my mom welcomed me as I opened the door.

"So how was it honey ?"she smiled.

"Did you mate ?"my dad winked at me as my mom smacked him in the chest making him burst out laughing.

"I officially asked her out ?"I smiled.

"Did you tell her about us ?"he asked.

"I don't notice my wolf react so I thought I would ask you" 

"Well she's probably not your mate then"he frowned.

"But I love her"

"You won't when you meet your mate"My mom cut in.

I sighed as I walked past them to my room.I sat on my bed.

'What would happen now ?'

I got out of my car a smile spreading across my face as I saw Amy run upto me.I picked her up spinning her around making her giggle.she kissed me hungrily as I placed her back on the ground.I kissed her back my hands going into her hair.her hands on my chest.our lips parted leaving us breathless.

"You wanna skip ?"she asked mischeviously.

I smiled as I led her into an empty classroom lifting her up placing her on top of the desk and smashing my lips back into hers.

Our make-out session lasted quite a while until i noticed aidens scent.somehow my mood completely changed and I gently pushed Amy away.she looked up at me confused.

"We should stop and get going the bells gonna ring soon".I gently tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.she nodded and got off the table opening the door and stepping out.she jumped as I heard a deep growl.knowing it was probably him I hurried towards her and stood in front of her.I turned around to face him.

'Mate' my wolf whined.

'NO.this was not happening.'

he bit his lip and My wolf whimpered as i saw the blood dripping from his lip.he looked so terrified.I hated him yet all i wanted to do was hug and comfort him.clenching his hands he took a step back biting his lip hard deepening his cut.I winced as he created distance between us.my wolf begging me to just run forward 

"What's the matter Ry ?"Amy asked from behind me.

It seemed the moment I took my eyes off him he would run away and I knew there was no chance of me catching upto him.

"Why don't you head to class.I'll catch up"I didn't hear her reply neither did i turn around to see if she had nodded in fact I didn't even notice her scent disappear.the only thing that was occupying my mind right then was Aiden.

He had begun to tremble slightly.I couldn't bear to see him so distressed.finally listening to my wolf I stepped forward making him take a step back.we both winced.

"Don't"I growled making him tense up.I took a step forward and thankfully this time he didn't back away.I kept moving forward until we were inches apart.my wolf begging me for some contact.I hesitantly raised my hand up to his face still keeping eye contact.his Adams apple bobbed up and down,his eyes growing wide as I gently caressed his soft cheek.he relaxed as he leaned into my touch and the warmth spread through my body.my eyes travelled from his eyes to his slightly parted lips and I frowned as I saw his bleeding lip.I started slowly moving my thumb across his cheek to his lips but his hand grabbed my wrist stopping me.

"Don't"he pouted."you'll get dirty"

"I don't care"I rasped.

RRRRRRRIIIIIIIING!

Just then the bell rang making us both jump apart.the distance created was unbearable.I looked at him awkwardly.

"Now what ?"I asked.

"Let's meet in the woods"

"Fine"I shrugged.

I waited for him to turn around and walk away to his next class but he just stood there.I sighed as I turned around and forced myself to walk away.I stopped as soon as I turned the corner resting my back against the wall.his scent was intoxicating me.I stood there for atleast 5 minutes before his scent started fading.I almost ran after him but stopped myself.

'Why ?'

'Why him ?'

'Why me ?'
