Erika's POV
I stopped bawling my eyes out and went to clean myself up, knowing that I've never cried before so I shouldn't start now. It just made my heart break into pieces when Jake made me drop my stuff, I thought he was the only one who cared for me, but I guess not.
Jake's POV
I hurried outside running in the pouring rain, looking for her street. Hopefully for me, the Vice Principal was friends with my father and told me where she lived. I found her street and knocked on her door as hard as I could. I heard her sweet voice asking,
E- "W-Who is it..?"
I heard her voice and I could tell she has been crying since she left the school.
J- I answered, "It's um, Jake....."
E- "Leave me alone! Don't ever come back here again!"
Her footsteps disappeared quickly, leaving a quick patter going up the stairs. I climbed her tree outside and opened her window, which was fortunate for me, when it was not locked.
J- "Erika, I just wanna talk!"
E- "You... You stalker! You broke into my house, and now you just wanna talk!?"
J- "I know you're mad, but I just wanna talk. I'm sorry about the way things happened at school, it's just that the squad isn't used to me being nice to, a person like you."
E-"What's that supposed to mean?? A nerd? Can't be nice to me, I already understood that when you and your squad bullied me in the hallway."
Erika's POV
The boy I liked, broke into my house and then expects me to accept his apology. But, it's fine at least I know his true self. He started to speak up, but would cut himself off as he opened his mouth.
J- "Erika, there's something I need to tell you."
E- "What is it? That you hated me since you saw me? I could tell."
J- "No, it's...."
