If you haven't noticed by now, this will be a nonfiction series describing the way too many sports I play and other events of my wonderous life. Today, not much happened. Sat around, played with the dogs, slept in until at least 9:00 am, and just recently ate dinner with a family member and two friends.
To make this a little more interesting, I guess I should introduce myself a little, since I'm pretty mysterious and vague over my profile. I'm Maddy, i have tons of hobbies and play lots of sports. Hobbies include; crafting, riding horses, playing some sort of computer game every once in a while, photography, listening to 5FDP (5 Finger Death Punch, for those of you who aren't in touch), looking at the moon, and other strange things. Sports I am involved in include 4-H (Horses, woodworking, photography), track (1600m run, 800m run, long jump), cross country, marching band, winter percussion. There's probably more I forgot.
I'm a person of logic and science, I love to use scientific or logical facts to prove someone wrong in an argument, especially the argument I get in the most; that us humans evolved from apes. Yes, it may just be one scientific theory that proves our existence and there could possibly be some other explanation, but this is the one I stick to. Sorry if you disagree :).
My favorite subjects in school are; you guessed one of them; science and history. I love going to any kind of historical place, knowing the mystery of the place and that the first humans probably used to live there. It makes me excited to know the kinds of things I could discover if I was an archeologist, which brings me to my next point.
When I grow older, I want to become either a paleontologist, archeologist, or geologist. Paleontology is my number one, which is the study of fossils, in case you just asked "What's paleontology?". You may also me asking, "What are the other two?", and I'm glad you did. Archeology is the study of past human life, while geology is just the basic study of all sorts of locations, such as studying the ground and the layers. I hope to go to Arizona State University for paleontology, but first I would get an undergrad in geology in case paleontology doesn't work out for me. I'd like to major in that and probably music. I'm not exactly sure what I would minor is, but music is a possibility there too.
Lots of big words, I hope you followed me through all that. I'm currently reading "The Diary of Anne Frank", which is something that inspired me to make something like this. Of course, this isn't any historic time period, but you never know when something terrible could happen that could turn into history. I'm always making sure to be careful. You never know what or who could turn into history, and who knows, it could be you, not in any particular way. Good or bad, perhaps. I hope it's good.
