It's been a few days since I've written. Suppose I really need to start keeping this thing under my finger and start writing more. I saw that my story is only number 94 on Experience, but that's the highest rank I've ever received on something as big as this.
Christmas this year was a success. I got a lot of cool stuff, and I hope you did too, dear reader. I just got a haircut today, so I feel fresh and good to go.
I've been working on a little project, which is what the picture above is about. It's a little thing where you stick tiny gems in a color coded area and make a whole huge picture to be hung in a frame and put wherever you want it to go. I've gotten pretty far, actually. I've been STICKING with it (ha, see what I did there? ... No? Ok. I'll move on). I'll get the entire black area done soon, I hope; I'm farther than what the picture states.
I'm on the countdown to New Year's now, and it's very close. Suppose I need to do the "yearly thing" like everybody else does, which is stay up until midnight, but before it hits, do the big countdown until midnight, if that makes any sense at all.
I've been watching some unsolved cases on YouTube lately, and to my surprise, I find them interesting. Must be kind of fun being a detective and logically trying to figure out what went on in that home or at that place. Unsolved cases are really the most interesting, because detectives and other people strive to find who did it, and it still remains a mystery. Like the murder of JonBenét Ramsey. Long story short, there was a ransom note left on a step for her, and she was reported missing for 8 hours until being found killed in the family's basement. There were two pairs of footprints, but no one still knows who killed her. I know. It's weird seeing this creep into my journal. Sorry, I'll stop now.
Other than that, it hasn't really been interesting these past few days. On Christmas Eve, we had dinner with friends and a family member. Ham was one of the items on the table, and ham is my favorite thing on the table when ham is an option. The ham was super good.
Hope your dinners and Christmases were simply amazing this year and I hope you got what you wanted.
  Merry (late) Christmas
