The Neighborhood

CHAPTER 2

We got to the house we bought. It was my dream home. It was like a mansion!

I ran inside and looked around. I couldn't believe it. "Am I dreaming?"

I said to myself.

My mom laughs. "No honey, you ain't. This is our home."

I went upstairs, there was 2 bathrooms, 4 big master bedrooms and they all had walking closets! Oh my god I love it here already. I went to pick a room with a big window beside my bed. I had a big screen tv, and a huge computer desk and a bean bag chair.

I went downstairs and told mom I found the room I want. I went to the car and got my stuff. I was so excited to put all my stuff away.

Later, I decided to walk around the neighbourhood. It was so beautiful. Better than boston to be honest. I seen a park on the next street. I walked over there and seen bunch of teenagers. You know me, Sweet, Polite. I walked over and I went to go say hi.

Me: "Hi, my names Jenni & yours?"

Teenagers: "The fuck, Who the fuck are you nigga?"

They started laughing and pointed at my clothes.

I was wearing leggings and a white shirt.

I mean what was wrong with my clothes?

Girl: "The fuck girl, nigga you got a cameltoe!"

*they all start laughing*

I started to cry and ran home as fast I could. I was so embarrassed! I hate this place! I hate the people here already! I ran into my room and chilled on my bean bag chair and started playing Match Dots on my iPhone.

I went downstairs to see my mom but she wasn't home.

I was kinda scared cause it was a really big house and I was alone.

I texted my mom.

Text convo

Me: "Mom, where are you?"

Mom: "At the school. You start school tomorrow."

Me: "Ugh ok."

I didn't wanna go to school. I'm not ready to make new friends. I just wanna go back to highschool. I went upstairs and took a shower, brushed my teeth and went straight to bed.
