the bell rung and jonah ran in just on time.

jonah has always been that kid at school who gets along with everyone, and the hot jock i guess.

girls would flirt with him 24/7.

one time rebecca was trying to flirt with him in the middle of the football field.

jonah ignored her and she bawled her eyes out in front of hundreds of students.

im the kid that is friendly to everyone, likes to keep his friend group small, shy and quiet when i want to be.

i guess you could say i had a thing for jonah marais.

jonah sat a few rows behind me.

he smiled at me.

i smiled back.

the room was quiet. the teacher wasn't their.

you'd except for there to be chaos but not really, everyone is kinda low and probably being quiet because they're vaping under the desks.

a substitute teacher walks in.

"this class will be a study hall, enjoy it i guess." she says before picking up her phone.

i look back at jonah, he shrugs.

i wave my hand indicating him to come my way.

he gets up from his seat.

"let's ask the teacher if we can go out in the hallways to study because soon it'll be getting really loud in here."

he nods as he grabs his backpack.

i grab mine and start heading up to the teachers desk.

"miss, may jonah and i go out into the hallway, it's starting to get loud in here and we have an ela test soon."

she points to the door in an aggressive way, i faintly smile at her as i nod at jonah.

jonah and i walk out and search for the loneliest hallway.

we eventually find one and sit down.

"im so tired" i say covering my face with my book bag.

"aren't we all" he sighs.

"if im being honest, im pretty fucking dumb and know nothing about this ela test." he shrugs.

"im not the smartest, but i know a few things about it i guess."

"ugh."

"do you want to come over later and tomorrow so we can go over the notes?"

"you'd do that?" he says.

"it's not that hard haha." i say laughing at him.

"thanks." he says, finally uncovering his face.

"want to listen to music?" i ask.
