Hi I'm Eris, the girl who chased after Jayden since we we're in the junior high and a friend of his, I still remember that time back on grade 10 when i first confessed my love to him only to be rejected. To be honest i had no plans of confessing to him but rumors around the group says that he will transfer next year and since i had no to react, i rushed to him and i had to release this feelings or else i will lose the chance to say it to him.
It's the first day of our classes, the last thing i remembered was when i confessed to Jayden 4 months ago when we got out scores but i only did it because i thought that he was gonna transfer this year. I still can't believe we are classmates again and we had an awkward space between us but i hope that he forgot about it. To make it worse we are sitting right next to each other and our teacher made us partners for the rest of the semester and i can't do anything about it. I have to clear this awkwardness and i have to start communicating if i want to pass this semester but i really don't know how to. Should i start with a "hi nice to see you again." Or an "hello, im sorry about last year" but does he even remember it? Does he even care? What should i do now?
"Whats wrong?" Says Jayden.
"O um, nothing im just... so um how are you?" I replied with a nervous response.
"Doing great, how about you?" He replies with a smile.
I tried to say that "I am doing better since then" but i think he doesn't remember it, as i tried to open my mouth for a response the bell rang in which signs that it is 12:00 pm which our lunch time but since its the first day of school it signed that it is dismissal time. I walked down the stairs and i saw him again but this time he is hanging with Mark and
Charles and it seems like they have a plan to go out. I wanted to join them but i still cant get close enough to him so i just walked on home. By the time I'm in the shed for the shuttle i realized that the three of them are still hanging together next to a convenience store and i noticed them waving goodbye to each other and i saw Charles walking to my direction, i guess he goes to this shuttle as well.
"Hey there" says Charles with a friendly expression. "I noticed you were looking at us" he followed up.
"O it's just because you guys looked familiar, I couldn't tell who because I'm near sighted but i identified you once you came closer" i said with a little hesitation.
The shuttle appeared and we used it since you can't walk through this village anymore due to peoples complain about outsiders stealing but it's the shortest and cheapest way to go home. As we shuttle come closer to the second gate, i waved goodbye to Charles and ended our discussion about this year and our expectation and i walked for a solid 10-15 minutes home and i still can't process the fact that after 4 more months i finally had another chance to talk to him and see him but I'm too scared to do so.
