Hello there, i'm Mark, i'm the Jayden's best friend and the one who is chasing after Eris since last year. I tend to observe her from a far since I'm still to shy to talk to her and i found out that she got to a lot of admirers as well in which all ended with a really bad rejections. I rather stay observant and try to at least be friends instead of being rejected and never heared of again.
I woke up early so i could go to school and meet my new classmates. Im really excited because i saw her name in my class list as well as my best friend Jayden since we haven't seen each other for 4 months, i still remember our good old days when we just hangout in the internet cafe where we play and dominate. As i enter the room i see almost a lot of familiar faces and some new ones but the one that caught my attention is Jayden and Eris sitting together at the corner of the room. I attempted to join them but im too shy to talk to Eris so i just sat down beside some other classmates of mine. I sat beside Charles and Oliver since i've known them since last year and we had a little talk before our teacher arrived. The teacher assigned buddies and i was partnered with Charles while Oliver is partnered with a new kid, We were also tasked to know our partners more after classes which ended up being a half day since its our first day so in the end me, Jayden and Charles hanged out together after classes.
"So how are you guys doing?" Charles asked with a smile.
"Well we haven't meet up since like forever" he also said before letting us answer.
"It's been like only 4 months... anyways what you wanna do Mark?" Jayden replies.
"Hmm lets just eat before going home and talk." I replied with a little smile.
"Hey don't ignore me!" Says Charles with a really cute expression.
" Well its the start of classes and we are just gonna eat so i guess im feeling hungry" i replied while laughing a little.
"Well... you at least answered my question. Well then where should we eat?" Charles said.
"I know, lets go eat across the street from the school if its still open, i missed that place" says Jayden which is really unusual since he wasn't this talkative in class.
As we walked down the street i realized that the girl in front of me looks really familiar, slowly realizing that it was Eris but she is wearing earphones so we really didn't bother her to join us. As we climbed the staircase we saw that the eatery was closed so we decided to just talk it out in front of the village near the school. A couple minutes of catching up passed and we decided to split ways with Charles as he walked towards the village while me and Jayden walked the same path but before we left we saw Eris was sitting in the shed as if she was waiting for someone or something. Eris and Charles talked while me and Jayden walked. All of a sudden...
"So do you still like her?" Jayden said with a smirk.
I froze in place and blushed a little and said "why would you say that all of a sudden?!?"
He laughed and pushed me forward and we continued walking without saying another word.
