The Frozen Heart

A month has passed since school started and during that time it was pure lecture, quizzes and sit works. There is the occasional group works too but its not much importance and everything was as normal as ever till one day their adviser came in to class early announcing that the school's night out is gonna happen in the end of the week. Mark thought it was a great idea to hangout with Jayden and the others and try to ask Eris to join them since it might be a great idea so that they can be closer to each other. Eris thought that she could as Jayden to join her in the event so she could finally spend time with him. Jayden is planning on just going to the internet cafe instead of spending time with strangers but was forced by Charles to join instead.

Mark approaches Charles and asked him to invite Eris to the group but he was too late since Charles was already texting her beforehand, Eris on the other hand asked Charles to invite Jayden but she too is far too late for he already forced him during recess. It was a nice quite lunch time until...

Charles suddenly pulls Eris from behind and eagerly says "join us during lunch, might be a great idea since you will be joining us on the event night!"

"Do i even have a choice? Im already here anyways so why not." Responded by Eris with dead fish eyes on her face.

Charles regrouped with Oliver, Mark, Jayden and the new kid Lars saying "i got us a new member!"

"Let go of me already!!! Im already here with you so let go" Shouted by Eris.

"Alright alright, so where we eating?" Asked by Charles.

"How about the small food street area?" Suggested by Charles and Mark.

"Hmm how about the rice toppings area?" Implied by Oliver and Lars.

"How about you two, where do you wanna eat?" Asked by Charles to Eris.

"Im good anywhere." Says Eris.

"Lets go fo the canteen, find a spot, then buy separate foods? We haven't moved an inch from the classroom." Implied by Jayden.

"O yea good idea, lets get going then!" Eagerly said by Charles.

As they walked down to the canteen they found a spot for 8 people and since its the last chair they assigned Jayden, Mark and Eris to sit first to reserve the table while Oliver, Lars and Charles buy their food. While the 3 of them were buying their food, Jayden pulled of a douche question.

"So who do you like mark?" With a grin in Jayden's face.

Mark immediately punches Jayden in the shoulder "shut up!"

"Alright fine, lets just play a truth or dare game, you wanna join us Eris?" Proposed by Jayden.

"Sure" said by Eris who is currently trying to hide a smile.

"Alright, truth or dare mark?" Asked by Jayden.

"Truth i guess?" Mark responded.

"Alright then describe the person you love" Jayden forced that question out trying to help mark confess.

"Umm well... she is... um really cute, she is very cute... and um... she... she is shy... and silent... and she is perfect I- I guess...?" Said by Mark a he blushes while trying not to look at Eris so that she wouldn't suspect a thing.

"How about you Eris?" Said by Mark. "Truth or dare?"

"Um... Truth." Eris said.

"Alright, what do you find in a guy?" Asked by Mark.

"Umm i... i like it if he is a shy type, if he is um... if he is nice and a very chill person...?" Eris answered while tryning not to look at Jayden.

"Where are they? Im already starving... should we just go and leave the table?" Eris trying to skip the topic and look behind as she realised that she was already blushing.

Charles, Oliver and Lars finally got back from a long line and Mark, Jayden and Eris stood up to buy their food. Ss they were separated by their different food types, Mark started to think if Eris ever noticed that Mark was trying to make it obvious to Eris that he liked her at the same time Eris is thinking if her description of a boyfriend is convincing enough to pierce Jayden's frozen heart and lastly Jayden is thinking weather if he will pick spaghetti or macaroni. No one noticed each others efforts and attempts since they were too focused at something. After an hour had passed, the lunch bell rang signaling students that its time to go back to the classroom since lunch is over. 3 hours has passed after that and the bell rang again signing that its dismissal so they all walked downstairs.

"Wait up!" Charles shouting at Eris.

"What?" Eris confusingly asked Charles.

"You wanna walk with us, we both go to the same path so why not?" Charles asked.

"No tha-" immediately rejected by Eris until she realized that Charles walk with Jayden and Mark home which might be a good time to get close with Jayden. "Actually sure let's go"

"Great, lets call Jayden and Mark." Said by Charles.

"Mark! Jayden! Lets all walk home together!" Shouted by Charles inside of the empty classroom.

"Sure thing." Replied by Jayden and Mark.

They all walked down the stairs together, Charles on the edge beside Jayden as he tries to entertain the group, Eris beside Jayden on the other end trying to get noticed but is too shy to talk so she just walked silently and Mark beside Eris trying to talk to her but is afraid since Eris have a fierce look. In the end of the day Eris and Mark couldn't say a word while Charles spew out nonsense and Jayden listening. Before Charles and Eris seperated, Eris gave Jayden a message before leaving.

"Okay this is our stop on the right, see you guys Tomorrow on the event!" Shouted by Charles.

"Okay but before we go, have a safe trip Jayden." Said by Eris.

"You too Eris." Said by Mark.

As they all walked separated paths such as Mark and Jayden kept walking straight and Charles and Eris walked towards the village, the thoughts appeared to Eris asking herself if Jayden noticed her yet at the same time Mark was asking himself if he got noticed by Eris. They both thought out loud that Jayden heard Mark say it giving him a sign thst he likes Eris while Charles figured out that Eris likes Jayden by the way she worries for him. In the end of they day Jayden didn't notice Eris for he was afraid that he might ruin the chance of Mark has on Eris.
