Ch. 12

Damon's POV

Mia completely side step the question of being Emily's first Mammie Dom.

I know how Mia is, she operates like a shallow person, but with Lyonna she's tender and carry lust and love around like it's paper.

It was getting late and Emily fell asleep on the crayons and colouring book that she used to keep her company.

I took her small figure up and like the kitten she is, she curled up into the croak of my neck, with her nose tickling me. I smile at the gesture but I wanted to know more about Mia due to how my curiosity peaked.

"Ohk thanks for having us over Mia." I whispered softly as Emily began to get a little restless on my shoulder.

"Even though you came uninvited it was nice having you and the little stinker over." She chuckled before attending to her sleeping monkey.

At Damon's house.

After placing Emily in her room, the soft scent of lavender tickled my nose, which made me smiled. I turned her night light on and there was the action of purple and pink stars dancing softly across the ceiling of her room.

I closed the door shut behind me and head over to my room. Taking off my watch and unbuttoning my shirt. My focus shift from my attire to my vibrating phone.

"Hello?" I answered sternly.

"Hey you in bed yet?" Mia whispered.

"No not yet was taking off my clothes just now. What's up?" I stood in front of my tall mirror and looked at my frame ...

"Can we talk? Like in person?" She asked cautiously. I was a bit shocked since I was there earlier.

"Umm sure come out back." I responded and after that the line went dead.

Damon's backyard

I changed my button up for a long sleeve shirt. I came to the fence where I expected Mia to be but she wasn't there as yet.

I waited for a few and then I heard her foot steps on the leaves on the other side of the yard.

"Umm hey." She whispered, while she grabbed onto the fence.

"Hey Mia." I replied. She seemed uneasy about something but I wasnt going to push it.

"Listen umm I know I could of done this over the phone but I wanted to ask u in person." She started.

I arched my brow in confusion and waited...

"Use your words Mia." I said in my Dom voice.

She breathe out and came out with what she was rambling about.

"I was wondering if u can watch Lyonna for me while I go out off town."

"How long will u be gone?" I asked.

"A week." She whispered as she nervously scratch her head.

"A week!" I whispered yelled.

"Why though?" I interrogated.

"I can't tell you but I will when I'm back, please." She tried.

Sighing out aloud I pinched the bridge of my nose and answered.

"Yea sure."
