Bakugou waited. He waited quite the long time, in fact. At least, it felt that way. Checking his phone it had only been a few minutes. A few too many to let his mind wander. If he was honest, he didn't know what the next move could be. He wasn't one to really plan much out. His own physical abilities forced him to react rather than plan. He watched to know how to react but he didn't expect what the next move was. It was sort of like combos in a video game. Humans are just unpredictable that way. Especially the lunatics in 1-A.

The possibilities were endless with where they would go with the situation. A part of him enjoyed the chaos in a car crash type of way. Another part of him just wanted peace and quiet. Although, he didn't want to stop being around Uraraka. It's stupid but there was an anxiety that they would go back to ignoring each other for the most part again. There were the occasional late night chats but those always faded into hard studying and light snacking. He did understand why everyone liked being around her. It's a shame he didn't like everyone else all that much. With the exception of Kirishima, of course. Even then, he could be too obnoxious from time to time. Come to think of it, both Uraraka and Kirishima are extremely similar people. They could easily work as a team. A little direction would be needed, though.

Bakugou yawned. He needed something more interesting to think about. Perhaps the fact that Uraraka is an adrenaline junkie. It made sense given her gravity ability. Of course, it took her this long to figure that out. She looked different up in the sky. Angelic, in a way.

Wait.

Skipping that thought. An idea hit him like a ten story building. He almost dropped his phone trying to pull it back out. He was quick to send an urgent text.

Bakubitch: Get back here I figured it out.

Poolfloaty: Thank god

About five minutes later, and Uraraka open and the shut the door. An irritated look on her face.

"What did they do to you?" Bakugou couldn't help but ask.

"Don't worry about it." Uraraka sighed. "Whatcha got?"

"So, you know how an explosion can't happen until some level of friction creates a spark to ignite it?"

"Basic science, yes."

"Well, since they want an explosion, we have to give them one."

"That's every plan you've had thus far."

"Trust me, this one's better than those shitty half-baked ones."

~

"So?" Todoroki asked as he sat down at the cafeteria table.

"So what?" Uraraka asked, looking up from her phone as she read over the plan instructions Bakugou had sent her. It was more of a schedule than anything else.

"Who do you think you're going to go with to the dance?"

"God, I don't know." In all honesty, that dance was the last thing on her mind. "When even is that dance?"

"Couple weeks."

"I honestly don't even know if I want to go." She sighed. "It feels like a waste of time. I could easily just hang out with you guys at any other time and in way more comfortable clothes."

"Well, if you did go, then who would it be with?"

"If you're trying to get info out of me on the Bakugou situation, then you're doing a really bad job."

"I'm just curious."

"What more do you want me to say? That I'm living in some kind of subpar fanfiction where we're secretly married?"

"Yes?"

"I'm telling All Might that you're harassing me because of my economic status."

"Bet."

"No betting please." Iida interrupted the two. "Last time you guys bet on anything, Midoriya's form almost caught fire."

"Yeah, no offense but I'd like to keep my stuff safe." Midoriya said catching up to Iida.

"You can keep your stuff when Uraraka admits that she's dating Bakugou." Todoroki said simply, biting into the noodles that had been on his chopsticks for a solid minute now.

"It's innocent until proven guilty, Todoroki." Iida stated, sitting down in front of them.

"And I'm calling her to the stand." Todoroki pointed the chopsticks at Uraraka. "What do you have to say in your defense?"

"You're just jealous because I have a bigger ass than you."

"No one can compete with a whole bakery. That isn't a proper defense."

"This isn't a proper trial." Iida added.

"Aren't you curious though?"

"It's her personal life, it's her choice to tell me."

"You sound like you're missing your fedora." Midoriya joked as he situated himself in his seat.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

While the banter kept on, Uraraka's phone buzzed.

Bakubitch: meet me in the hallway asap

Poolfloaty: why?

Bakubitch: just do it

Anything beat being interrogated. Even if she didn't know what was going on.

~

"How do you know no one will see us?" Uraraka asked, looking every which way as if someone would appear from the empty classrooms.

"Because it's lunch." Bakugou leaned on a wall in the empty hallway.

"Fair enough." Uraraka yawned. "So, what did you need to tell me."

"Not much, I was just mostly annoyed of everyone asking me about you." Bakugou yawned. "I also wanted to make sure you memorized the plan."

"Yes, of course, the plan in which there is no plan."

"What's so bad about that?"

"Chances are the rumors only get worse."

"That's a valid concern but it only holds scraps of merit. Rumors are fads. They will go away."

"So it's half-baked." Uraraka deadpanned.

"No, it's fighting fire with fire." Bakugou scoffed, eyeing her anxious movements. "Clearly you haven't memorized the girls sleepover party part. Impressive."

"I haven't had the time."

"So it isn't going so well for you either?"

"It's pretty bad, yeah."

"Then trust me on this."

"I do trust you. I just–."

"You're just scared?"

"I have right to be anxious about it since no one seems to listen to me." Uraraka frowned.

"Oh c'mon, quitting looks pathetic and I have reason to believe you aren't a quitter."

"What kind of inspirational bullshit are you on?"

"Why do you ask?"

"Because it's working."

"Then my job here is done." Bakugou ripped himself off the wall. "I hope your lunch gets better." With that he walked off, quickly glancing at his phone as he did so.

Half n half: how's your gf

Bakubitch: she's not my girlfriend. I won't hesitate to block your number. Or worse change your contact to Arnold Palmer

Half n half: you wouldn't dare
