Chapter 1

Hi.
I'm Violet.

Well, my real name's Emma, but most people know me as Violet. You might have heard my name here and there, I don't know.

I don't like to think of myself as famous, because that makes it seem like I'm popular, and I'm not the popular type. In my ideal world, I would be stuck in a room on my own for the rest of my life, in my own company. Socializing isn't easy. But, that's not how my life is, sadly.

I guess as a 21 year old self made  songwriter, producer and entrepreneur, I shouldn't expect any less. That's what I do by the way. I'm a songwriter and producer for the most part, but I dabble.

I'm pretty famous I guess. I'd rather stay humble though.

I was brought up in a cottage off the coast of ireland, with two siblings (a brother and sister) on a farm. I wasn't treated specially back then, I don't see why I should be now.

That's one thing I don't like about the music business. People are always tip toeing around each other and acting like they're better then everyone else. I hope people don't think I'm like that.

When I was younger, I always admired the celebrities who stayed grounded and didn't change because of their fame. I would like to think kids would look at me like that now.

I'm at an airport right now by the way. Christmas is just over and now I have to go back to work. Que my mental breakdown.

I'm excited though.

Just before the holidays, my boss called me into his office. I can't remember his exact wording, but basically there was a job offer to help produce some songs for a Korean label, and they had asked if anyone from our company was interested. Not being cocky, but I must admit our label's pretty good.

Anyway, he said I was the ideal candidate because I had a bubbly but chill/ serious personality, I wasn't hard to cater for (Lie by the way, I'm kinda picky, no shame) and because I spoke Korean. Mostly the last one.

In case you didn't know, I'm fluent in Irish, English, Korean, French and Spanish. So yeah.... Look who wasted her life learning a bunch of languages.

But anyway,  I accepted, because why not, so now I'm off to Korea. Wish me luck, hope I don't die on the plane.
