It was a morning like any other at the Sanders' household. Patton was preparing breakfast and coffee, Logan was reading the news, Decite was setting the table, Roman was setting down cups and mugs, Thomas was editing, and Virgil was on his phone going through his social media. As usual, the bickering began. "May I ask why my chemicaly inbalanced romance is so abnormally silent this fine morning?" Virgil looked up a little flustered, but irritated by the comment and bit back by saying,"Non of your mother effing business Princess""You're ssss-o quick witted Virgil.""Shove that snake toung up your-""Boys, enough.", Patton said so sternly that it made them pause. "He ssss-tarted it!""No you!""What are you guys toddlers!" Logan being fed up with their bickering spoke out and said, "Didn't you hear Patton, enough is enough. We don't care who started it or who finished it. Can't you guys go on without bickering one morning! Patton has done nothing more than been a father figure to you all, yet all he gets in return are restless nights, head-aches,and your endless bickering. Roman and Virgil to your rooms, Decite help with the dishes. We'll call you down when breakfast has been served." Everyone was completely baffled by Logan's out-burst. Virgil got up, teary-eyed, and raced to his room. Roman bowed his head as he silently walked to his room, not having enough energy to sink-down. "Thank you, Logey, but wasn't that a tiny bit harsh?""Yes, and I do feel guilty for making them feel bad, but it was getting out of hand. No matter at that, I'll apologize later. We have have greater matters at hand." With that said, Patton immediately turned off the stove and called Thomas and Decite over. Then Patton spoke, "Does everyone know their role. Where to be, what to say, and what to do?" They all nodded. "Time to get this party started then."
~Meanwhile~
Virgil was listening to his music while tears streamed down his pale face and Roman was polishing and sharpening his katana solemnly. Suddenly a cry for help was heard from Roman's room, followed by grunts, smacks, and thuds. Virgil threw his headphones aside and sprinted to Roman's room. When he arrived, he witnessed Roman being drugged by two hooded figure in black cloaks. They glanced at Virgil and immediately went through Roman's mirror, the door to the dream scape. His anxiety was at it's highest, he didn't know what to do. He heard footsteps running up the staircase. Even with his mind running wild, he got in to a defensive stance. It was either fight or flight, and he chose fight. At the entrance of the room, Patton, Logan, Decite, and Thomas. Their breathing was fast and short. Their appearances didn't help either. They were all bloodied up and bruised. He dropped his stance, but his anxiety didn't falter. Patton immediately ran to him and checked his face and arms for any type of injury." Virgil are you okay?! Did they hurt you?! Did they touch you?! I swear those sick bastards-"" Dad, dad, I'm fine, what about you guys what happened?! Who were they?! Why did they take Roman?!"" We don't know Virge, the hooded figures started to attack so we defended our selves." Virgil looked at Decite as he spoke. He couldn't find anything in his eyes but pure fear and shock. Virgil suddenly became quiet and gave a menacing look."They took Roman." As those words escaped his mouth his eyes became cat like and had a purple hue. "We have to save him." He was full of courage and determination to get back his prince. Even though he wouldn't say it outloud, he actually fancied Roman. Then logic came to burst his bubble." Virgil, I certainly and strongly agree that we have to save Roman, but we just can't. We haven't planned out anything. It would be highly dangerous, and not all of us can leave. Someone will have to stay and protect the house, the mind palace, and especially Thomas." Virgil thought it through. He knew this decision was rash and sudden, but it was the only way. "I'll go."
