AN: I'm practically dying right now and it's Christmas so ignore how bad this is. It's also 11pm because why not!?

Her hands gently grazed over the material, playing with it  and rubbing it through her fingers, as if searching for any imperfections within it. She focused mainly on the soft velvety touch of it, already coming up with so many possible designs for the fabric. She hummed contently as if approving it and took two rolls of it to the counter. She payed for it and threw on her jacket before walking back to the bakery.
The harsh air blew against her cheeks, giving them a rosy look and her breath could be seen with every exhale. She watched the snow fall as the street remained quiet, not many people were awake considering it to be late at night.
She reached the bakery after a few minutes and the warmth hit her like a wave, crashing down on her as soon as she entered. The smell of sweets and baked goods filled the space creating a homely aura, "marinette is that you?" Tom called out, "Yes papa!" She replied as she saw him walking out from the back, covered in flour and frosting, "there's someone upstairs waiting for you, I gave them some cookies earlier." Marinette nodded slightly, not entirely understanding why anyone would be in her room at this time of night, especially when Christmas was right around the corner and everyone was with their families.
She made her way up to her room, taking off her scarf and hat as she made her way up. Hesitantly she opened the hatch to her room and went up. Setting the fabric and her coat and bag on the desk she looked around for any signs of someone being there. She saw the plate of half eaten cookies and after looking towards the balcony she realised the hatch was open. Slowly she climbed up onto her bed and then up the ladder to the balcony, she smiled softly as she saw her partner sitting on the rail.
"What brings the famous Chat noir to my balcony at this time of night then?"  He jumped slightly at the sound of her voice and then turned to meet her gaze, "Do you recon I could stay the night princess? Somethings happened and I don't entirely want to go home" marinette was slightly taken back by the cats question, not entirely expecting it. She hesitates for a minute before smiling warmly and giving the cat a hug, "you're welcome to stay whenever kitty" when she hears a sob a few seconds into the hug she looks up and and study's the boys face. He could only ever be around her age, his eyes were soft yet broken but the smile on his face begged to differ. He was small, and towered slightly over her when she stood. She spent a good minute taking him in.
She grabbed both his hands and led him to her room, they sat on her bed. Not saying anything just enjoying the company of one another.
About an hour later Tom and sabine peek through the hatch to find the two cuddled up together on the bed, small smiles lingering on their lips.

AN: I decided to write something a bit cute so I hope you enjoyed this fluff!
