"We'll be back together on Thursday." Kelly hugged Kylie a final time at the airport. "I'll miss you." She pouted. "Yeah but it'll be a quick trip don't worry. You won't even know that I'm gone." He smiled softly looking into her eyes.

"Go or you'll be late for your meeting." He let go of the embrace. "Fine." Kylie groaned. "Call me when you land?" She pointed at me. "I promise mamas." His smile spreading across his face.

"You got it bad bro." Jayson told him as soon as he caught up to him. "Whatever man." Kelly mushed his head laughing to himself softly. "She's cool man. I like hanging out with her. "She's more than just cool man! She's at airports telling you goodbye!" Jayson shook his head.

"So maybe a little more than cool but we're feeling each other out, not taking it too serious. I'm her friend for now." He shrugged. "Right. Her friend." Jayson nudged him with his shoulder. "You're ridiculous man." Kelly chuckled at his friend. Both of them having first class riding tickets.

"I think you should pursue that though. I haven't seen you these last few days without seeing her." He shrugged finding his seat, my seat being right beside his as I sat as well. "For sure man. Just in due time." I nodded.

"Where's Kelly?" Kim asked me as I walked in her house. "He's on his way to Houston, I just dropped him off before my meeting." I answered sitting in her backyard couch as she sat across from me. "Things are moving aren't they?" She asked with a smirk.

"What things?" I rose my eyebrow. "With you and Kelly, weren't you with him all this week?" She asked. "Yeah but we're friends. We hang out a lot because of coincidence." I shrugged.

"Sure, just friends is what we're calling it." She still sarcastically replied. "Kim seriously! We don't even act like we're together. We literally just chill all the time." I laughed shaking my head. "Okay, I'll just be the one to say I told you so after you two are married." She raised her hands in defense. "I will say that boys don't just cook for their friends sisters and are just friends with you. Or at least they don't stay just friends." She smiled.

"Whatever, I guess you'll also say that me going there on Thursday doesn't seem friendish either." I rolled my eyes. Her eyes widened as she almost stood from the couch. "You're what?" She exclaimed. "Relax we're going to an amusement park Friday so I'm staying there Thursday and then we're coming back after that. Nothing huge." I shrugged. "Nothing huge? Kylie you're going to another state for him!" She stressed.

"It's not for him! It's to have fun and if he just so happens to be with me then so be it." I shut her down. "Also he was the one that suggested it." I finished. My phone buzzed in my hand as a FaceTime request from Kelly appeared on my screen.

"Hello!" He yelled rather loudly. "Why are you screaming?" I giggled as he watched the screen. "My ears haven't popped yet. I don't know how loud I'm talking." He laughed. "What you on today?" He asked. "Nothing, I'm with Kim right now. We might go out to eat later but if not I'll just go home." I told him.

"Hey Kim!" He yelled. "Did she hear me?" He asked just as loud causing me to giggle. "Yes I think she heard you." I laughed turning the camera towards her, her waving in response to him. "Hi Kelly." She laughed at him. "How are you?" He asked a little quieter noticing people giving him weird looks.

"I'm good. How are you, I heard you left us for a few days." She smiled. "Yeah, I'll be back Friday though, we should have a cook out when I'm back." He suggested. "Yeah, I can schedule that now actually. Do you want to rest Saturday?" She asked. "Yeah if that's okay. Can we have it Sunday?" He asked. "Yeah, I'll tell everyone." She smiled. "Cool, I'll see you then." He confirmed. I turned the camera back on me, his lips immediately spreading into a smile.

"Imma let you go mamas, I have to check in with my team but I'll call you after we practice and stuff." He said. "Okay, have fun and be safe." I smiled. "Always." He smiled again before ending the call.

"Friends my ass!" Kim gushed as I laughed.

"I like him though, I hope he doesn't do anything he's so sweet!" She said. "He is, one time he felt bad that he didn't check in with me like he said." I told her. "And he's doing this just as a friend." She nodded. "I would keep him." Kim stood.

"I'm about to go meet mom do you want to come with?" She asked. "Yeah sure, can we stop to get something to eat though? I'm starving." I asked. "Of course." Kim laughed as I followed her.

"So mom did you meet Kelly yet?" Kim continued her crusade of my personal life, Scott was also here visiting my mom. "I did a few days ago, he's a nice boy." She smiled as she got something for Kim. "Woah you're with someone else?" Scott looked confused. "No Kelly's, my just friend." I rolled my eyes. "So she says." Kim pointed at me with her eyes squinted. "But he's very quiet though. Didn't seem like your regular type Kylie." She rose her eyebrow.

I shrugged sitting at her dining room table. "He's my friend he didn't have to be a type." I smiled. "Okay just asking." She held up her hands with a smirk. "So who is he?" Scott sat beside me. "Kelly Oubre Jr., he plays for the Washington Wizards." I showed him a picture of a screenshotted snap from him. "It's the eyes huh?" Scott joked.

"Oh my God he is just a friend!" I gasped. "Yeah okay." He scoffed. "See! I'm not the only one that sees it!" Kim exclaimed. "Oh I know. Literally everyone approves except Khloe. Jordyn even said that she liked him." I shook my head. "Call me at your honeymoon." Kim joked.

"She's right you know." Kris winked at me as her and Kim headed to her office. Scott turned towards me as soon as they were out of ear shot.

"What happened with T?" He asked. "I would've thought he told you himself." I grumbled. "So you guys broke up?" He asked. "Seems like it. He hasn't contacted me in a week so." I trailed off. He shook his head. "Sad." He sighed. "Tell your mom I'm out." He typed on his phone as he stood. "Okay." I nodded sitting back in my chair.

"Are you home?" I asked Kylie. I had just gotten out of the shower as I lounged in my bed with my shirt off. "Yes, I got here like an hour ago. Kourtney cooked us dinner at my moms house." She told me with a smile.

"She don't got nothing on my cooking I bet you." I smiled into the camera. "No, not even close." She giggled at me. "How did you learn to cook so well?" She asked.

"My mom taught me the simple stuff like shrimp and grits. As I got older my grandmother took over and she taught me how to make the complicated stuff. I could teach you some time if you want." I offered. "I'd love to, when we get back from Houston definitely." She smiled. "Kylie and Kelly day." I smiled back.

"I think this is why Kim thinks we're dating." She giggled as soon as I said it. I shrugged. "She does?" I rose my eyebrow. She nodded with a smile. "She thinks we hang out way too much to not be together." She told me. "She might be right but I like hanging out with you." I shrugged.

"Same, you make me feel normal. If that makes sense." She spoke softly. "It does, I don't feel like an NBA player with you. Just Kelly." I smiled. "Plus you entertain my ideas and go on adventures with me." I added. "Same, And you seem actually interested in what I talk about. Even Jordyn tells me to shut up sometimes but you listen even when you don't know what I'm talking about exactly." She responded.

"I look up things after you talk about it so I'm versed in it if you ever want to talk about it again." I told her. "Kelly that's so sweet." She cooed. "Whatever you care about I do too, couldn't hurt to be educated in it too." I shrugged. "We just have to work to get you well versed in basketball. Can't have you clueless at my games." I chuckled.

"Definitely! I can tweet what I think without making a mistake." She put her hair in a messy bun as she shifted in her bed. "I'll give it two weeks and you'll be talking like an expert." I said.

As Kylie talked to me about any and everything under the sun I listened intently. Remembering to look up what exactly I could find an orange Lamborghini in California.

Content with my night I fell asleep with Kylie on the phone. Her encouraging me to sleep while she finished up some emails on her laptop. At least that's what she was doing the last time I had my eyes open.

"Sweet dreams Kelly." She whispered before putting her microphone on mute.
