CHAPTER 2: WHERE IS THE FOOD!?!

Shelby was the first to awaken, although she stayed in her onesie, she brushed her hair and did her makeup. She decided to go and set everything else up, they had only moved the boxes and furniture to the correct rooms, not set it up.

She thought of what the most important room was so she had somewhere to start, The Kitchen! She thought, her brown eyes filled with excitement as she mentioned food to herself. She quickly started setting up appliances and got silverware and paper plates to their correct PLATE-ment. She and Adam were the only ones who could cook something other than Mac and cheese. Ross and Max always ordered pizza, or went out to places, when they had food while living with Tim. 

"Hey Shelby, whatcha doing," Adam asked as he walked into the kitchen, he was dressed in the same clothes as the night before but his hair was neater and his jacket was open, revealing a brightly colored purple and gold amulet.

"Setting up the kitchen, I want food." She explained, putting a blender from the box onto the counter. 

"Well we'll have to go shopping for that, we have no food." Adam said plainly.

"Nooooo!!!" Shelby squeaked, making Adam wince at the highness of her voice once more. "whyyyyyyy??"

"What happened and why is Shelby yelling?" Max asked, obviously tired, "Ross and I could hear you from my room"

Adam raised his eyebrows, "What were you guys doing in there?" He dragged out the 'there' while smirking tauntingly. Max blushed, knowing what he was hinting at.

"Playing games and making fun of Shelby and Charlie," Max stated, his blush faded away. 

"Why were you making fun of me?!" Shubs whined.

"It's fun," He shrugged. 

"Well, Shub is upset because we have no food," Adam explained. "So we have to go shopping, go get Ross," 

"Ok," Max was suprised Adam didn't say 'your boyfriend' but was thankful for it, Shelby is Ross' cousin and would tell him, and then start shipping it again. Plus, since they were going to call Jess soon that would be an absolute nightmare. He headed back upstairs to get Ross. 

He opened the door to his room and saw Ross sleeping, they'd both stayed up last night playing games and watching YouTube, so they were both tired. 

He's even cuter when he's asleep the thought entered Max's mind causing him to blush, and went to find his shoes, letting the squirrel sleep for a little while longer.

After Max put on his shoes he went to get Ross up. 

"Hey bud, we have to go to the store to get food" Max said, gently shaking Ross. Ross groaned.

"Five more hours" he said tiredly.

"Don't you mean minutes?" Max asked, chuckling. 

"Nooo, hours" 

"Do I need to pour water on you?" Max said, trying to hold in his laugh.

"Nope. Nope. Nope." Ross shot up and ran to get his shoes. "Where are we headed?" 

"I dunno, Shelby was complaining about how we don't have food and Adam told me to get you," Max explained, Ross got up from tying his shoes.

"Let's go!" He said excitedly, Max chuckled and they headed downstairs to meet Shub and Adarn so they could all go get food. 

Hai! Alayn here! Sooo~ as you can tell I use a lot of their nicknames, mostly shub's. I know this won't get many reads but I'm going to update these every week or so if I'm not dying from school work. As you can tell Mithross is the main ship so far. Tell me if i should have Shelby be with someone, if so, Cory or Parker (I'll add either to the story)?
