Luke's POV

I was waiting for Liz when a soft knock alerted me of her presence. Rushing to the door I opened it slowly, because it creaked and ran outside with Liz into Ashton's car. Ashton wasn't that bad honestly and he was amazing with his sister so me and him bonded, considering we were the same age it was pretty likely. We drove to the ice cream parlor in silence and shortly we approached.

Liz's POV

We walked into the freezing store and got our cones, mine being cotton candy and Luke's being dark chocolate. Ashton was the best brother I could ever imagine having honestly, he always knew how to make me feel better. After my mom passed away 3 years ago, I started self harm and Ashton was the one who stopped me, then a little while later I met Luke.

After finishing our cones and dropping Luke off me and Ashton snuck back into the house, which is like a labyrinth it's so big, with my dad owning a company and everything he decided a new house would help us cope with moms death or something I guess. Me and Ashton decided to have a movie marathon in the screening room and I fell asleep shortly into the 3rd Star Wars movie.

I woke up to light streaming in through the curtains, giving the room a yellow glow and realized I was in my room, not the screening room. Gosh I love Ashton. I went downstairs to make breakfast and found Ashton and Luke in the living room playing video games, nerds. I had made a cup of tea and was about to sit on the couch when Luke came up behind me and scooped me up, placing me on his lap. "hey babe, long time no see." He muttered, so Ashton wouldn't hear. I got up and grabbed a controller, playing Mario cart with Ashton and Luke was an ideal way to spend my morning.

Luke eventually left later in the afternoon leaving me and Ashton to cleaning the house and getting ready for the lay day of school tomorrow.
