FLASH BACK
destiny was raising her hand. again. she never put it down. she was the smartest preschooler ever. she was also my twin sister, Emily's, best friend.
she would come over every day and I would prank her. shover her down slide spray her with a hose. then pour flour on her. she hated it. one time I put marbles on the floor and she slipped and cut right behind her ear. it was hilarious.
FLASH BACK OVER
PRESENT DAY
Destiny's point of view.
I was walking up a very familar street I hadnt been here since I was little. like ten. and now im almost sixteen. we moved awaywhen I was five. I would come and vist my dad a few times a year and see my best friend Emily. she would usually come to my house because I hated her brother.
I was walking down the street becuase my mom had hit me and I was sent away from her, along with my older brother.
I walked into my dads house. he was waiting for us.
"dad" I yelled almost crying. "I missed you"
"move away little sis, dont forget I havnt seen him either." my older brother mason said. I moved away and let him hug my dad. it was so nice knowing I would never see my mom again.
knock knock knock
I ran to the door already knowing who it was.
"emily" I scrame pulling her into a hug.
"omg I havent seen you in forever are you ok" she asked worried
"yes mom im fine" I said with a smirk on my face.
"good didnt want my best errr I mean daufhter getting hurt." she said.
"ok dad im going" I yelled as I closed the door. I know it sounds mean to just leave him but he had been staying with us for a week. so it was better to see my best friend.
we hopped in her car and headed out.
"is logan home" I asked wprried he might.
"nope hes at work." she said pulling into her house.
we walked in side and the smell of burned pop corn filled the house.
"your mom was cooking wasnt she?" I said while caughing
"yep"
that women burns everything even a simple pack of pop corn
"mom im home" emily yelled
"ok" her mom sounded far but was probablly only upstairs.
we walked to Emily's room and sat on her bed. I filled her in on every detail about my mom.
"well im glad your here for good" she said.
I smiled as the door to her room flung open.
"hey sis im home" emily stood up and ran to her brother.
" your back early, how was mexico."
"wonderful I - he stopped and starred at me.
"guess your busy. whos this" did he really not remember me.
oviously me and emily were thinking the same thing.
"oh shes my best friend" emily replied making sure not to say my name.
"well your friend is really gorgeous" he said comming to sit on the bed. I know it has been a while but seriously have I changed that much.
"yeah she is" emily said sitting down. "do you want to see what make her even more gorgeous" she said putting her arm around my neck.
"wait when did you go bio" logan said moving away.
I had to luagh. he nugged me.
" im not- she cut her self off
"just look" she moved a piece of hair from my ear revilling. a huge scar under my ear.
I heard a gasp from logan followed by him moving closer. tears started filling my eyes.
"destiny" he said more or less like a question. I couldnt hold the. back anymore. they poured out of my eyes.
"im so sorry'" he said hugging me.
