I stared  at the small box in my hand. It was from kyle. I began opening it. I slid off the tiny lid and tore at the paper. Inside was an ennvolope. Under it was a small necklace  with my name in silver cursive. And on the y was my birthstone.  I put on the beautiful necklace. It made the whole outfit complete.

Bzzz bzzzz bzzzzz

I looked over at my phone. Logan was calling me. I didnt know if i wanted to answer.

I ignored his call. I didnt want to hear about how you won football. I went downstairs to go get some food. As i opened the fridge the home phone went off.

I went over and on the caller ID  was logans name. I didnt even answer. I went back to the fridge and shut it, not even looking inside. I went over to the cupboard  and grabbed some pretzles.

I went back to my room to whatch Netflix.  I had just turned on coralina when i heard a knocking on the door.

I looked out my window and logan was there. We looked nervous. I decided enough was enough and i needex to face him.

I walked down stairs  and opened the door.

"What do you-

Logan grabbed  me in a hug.

"Omg i didnt know what happened  i thought maybe you were cutting or worse  you -

I cut him off

"I didnt kill myself." I pulled myself out of his arms and looked up at him.

"Logan, i can't  do this  anymore.  We need to split up. It was a dumb idea from the beginning  and it just i thought you cared but you dont im sorry." I slowly shut the door. I felt tears run down my face.

What did i just do. I went up to my room, and called emily.

"You broke up with him, why!" She was screaming  through the phone.

"He forgot my birthday." I said bluntly.

"I will be over in one sec can you  get some icecream from the fridge." She is such a pig.

I hung up and headed  down stairs.  I walked in tothe kitchen. I threw the fridge door open and looked for icecream when i found  it there was a note on the lid.

go outside. 

I already knew what was happening every  year  my dad  gives me a scavenger  hunt for my birthday.

I head out and on the porch was a small note.

I know how much you like hot drinks.

I ran back inside to our coffee  maker.  No note. The. What does this mean.

The women cut me off and handed me a drink wi th a note on it.

I love seeing your eyes light up when we sit and talk here.

I knew straight away he was talking about the park, but the last time we were there i was like ten. Whatever.

When i reached the park i saw a rose peddle walk way. I followed the path. Then i heard a gittar.  It sounded beautiful. As sn i followed along i turned right. 

I was shocked. There was everyone.

All my friends, emily, mason, my dad, logan.

Logan.  Logan was sitting playing the gittar.  Then he started singing.

"What would I do without your smart mouth. Drawing me in and you kicking me out.  Got my head spinning no kiding I cant pin you down.  What's going on in that beautiful mind.  I'm on your magical mystery ride. And im so dizzy, dont know what  hit me  but i'll be alright
