"'Tis The Season"
The Christmas Fic

Brendan woke up with long strands of hair trying to suffocate him. Instead of brushing it off his face, he wrapped his arms tighter around the warmth he is surrounded with and buried his face deeper.

A bursts of lavender, mandarin and chamomile  made him flutter his eyes open and enjoy his view.

Lying there on his bed with the woman he loves, he could only think how their first christmas as a couple would be.

He would force himself to untangle their limbs together, planning on surprising her with breakfast in bed. He would then try and recreate his mum's breakfast bread pudding, adding his own twists on things.

But as much as he would try and keep his noises and movements to a minimum, the mouth watering aroma of the pudding in his oven is enough to rouse her up from her sleep and join him in the kitchen.

She would see him humming and singing in the kitchen, completely oblivious of her before she makes herself known. She would walk up to, stand behind him and wrap her arms around his hips. Face would be buried deeply on his bare back as she take his natural scent in with the cinnamon from the bread pudding gently brushing against her nostrils.

A whispered 'good morning' would come from her and in return her would twist his body around just to greet her with a slow kiss.

Then he would suddenly pout and tell her what he had been planning, gesturing over towards the tray he already prepared. She would roll her eyes and pinch his cheeks until he smiles before soothing the skin with a kiss.

"Such a silly boy," she would muse and help him finish up their breakfast.

Breakfast would be ready and before he would be able to do anything else. She would grab the wooden tray he prepared, chuckling when she saw a single daisy he plucked from the flowers he gave her from the night before.

Not wanting to waste away his efforts, she would suggested that they should continue what he had planned and have their breakfast in bed.

It would take another hour or two before one of them would be out of the bed. They would get ready for the day. Enjoy a hot bath together, getting soaked in and just talking about random things.

When the clock strikes one, the kitchen would be a giggling mess. Flour would be all around and Brendan would be completely at fault with that. Christmas cookies are everywhere and the delicious aroma would be engulfing the whole flat.

Christmas songs are blasting on his Bluetooth speakers. They would sing their hearts out, dancing around the kitchen in their socks. A piping bag on her hand and a whisk on his, laughter will be filling up the room.

And then he'll fall in love be the time the night rolls in.

When Brendan Murray fall in love, he would bundled up with at least four layers of clothing, his cheeks flushed and his bluish green eyes appreciating the view before him.

'Twas the night before Christmas, he would say to his daughter years later, the stars hanging low and the streets of London was bustling. Carols are sung, last minute shoppers are going in and out of the brightly lit boutiques.
