THE VAMPIRE'S ENCHANTRESS

CHAPTER 1: STRANGE CALLINGS

I was supposed to be asleep but instead I was being dumb ( a common occurrence) and following some weird calling  deep into the forest.

Suddenly the calling disappeared and surprise surprise, I the dumb fool didn't know which way I had come from so I was now lost.

''Way to go Ary, listening to some stupid hallucination. Look, now you're lost!'' I muttered loudly, mentally slapping myself for my idiocy and recklessness.

''Probably not the best idea to speak so loudly love, you never know what dangers could be lurking at this dark hour.''

I couldn't  see who was speaking and I didn't want to wait to find out so I took off in a random direction, crashing into low tree branches and barely managing to stay on my feet.

I didn't get far...

Suddenly as I was being pinned against a tree and the air was rapidly knocked from my lungs as my back crashed against the bark.

I fought hard but no matter what I did,my efforts were futile against his effortless strength.

''Let go of me!'' I screamed as I tried to shove him  off me but my attacker just laughed as he expertly pinned my arms to my sides.

Ugh creep!

He leaned in and I caught a whiff of his aura. Things just got a whole lot worse.

I felt my heart skip a beat and begin to hammer painfully against my chest as if to escape it.

This guy was a VAMPIRE!

I recoiled in disgust as he licked the now throbbing vein in my neck.

''Please let me go. Don't bite me. Please,'' I pleaded as I leaned back in a vain attempt to put as much space between me and  this bloodthirsty maniac.

My fear unfortunately seemed to make him ecstatic.

''I like my victims scared,'' he whispered in my ear with a dark chuckle and licked my neck again.

I had to fight back I knew I did but I couldn't move and I knew he was responsible for this.

He was immobilizing my powers.

Just when I thought it was over and braced myself for the pain of his fangs piercing into my neck, He interfered.

''You should really learn to keep your fangs inside your mouth, where they belong.''
