Chapter Two: Stuck Between A Rock and A Hard Place.

Kassidy's P.O.V

I got a call from the guy on my campus. I let it ring debating if I should answer. Mainly because I have a whole boyfriend...that doesn't pay me much attention. Also not to mention he hasn't texted or called me back all day. I mean it's only coffee, what's the worst that can happen? So I answered it.

"Hey Alex"

"Hey beautiful. I wanted to know if you were still on for coffee later"

"Of course. I'll meet you around 6?"

"Great it's a date" Then he hung up. Oh God...What have I gotten myself into. I get myself in to my dorm and I see Hayes just laying on my bed on his phone and he looks up at me.

"Hey babe" He gets up and hug me and I hug him back and he kisses me.

"Where did all of this affection come from?" He looks at me confused.

"I'm sorry I haven't been there babe. I have been working some things out. " He kisses me again, then goes for my neck. I know exactly what he wants. I get back to reality and push him away.

"What type of things?"

"Oh, you know stuff" He picks me up and puts me on my bed gently. And he kisses my neck.

"Hayes I'm serious" Then his phone goes off. I look at it but think nothing of it.

"Why are you always in my business? Jeez I said it's nothing so it's nothing." I roll my eyes. Then his phone goes off a few more times.

"I'm not in the mood anymore" He sighs and gets up and gets on his phone. And I get up and take his phone from him. He looks at me confused.

"What the fuck are you doing?" He tries to take his phone back. I snatch it away. And go through it.

"Hayes what the fuck. You said this wouldn't happen. You said you love me-"

"I do baby. I promise I do." I throw the phone at him and take off the promise ring he gave me on anniversary.

"You wouldn't do this dumb ass shit. Fuck off Hayes"

"Baby I swear it didn't mean anything. You didn't really give me much attention." I roll my eyes

"So this is my fault?" I felt like I was going to boil my skin I was mad. What the hell was he on?

"No.. I just-"

"Just leave Hayes."

"Baby please...-"

"LEAVE. AND NEVER COME BACK" I pushed him away. And he walked out the door. I got on my phone and texted Alex.

" Hey, you think we can do coffee earlier and maybe do something later. My class doesn't start until 9 tonight"

"Of course. Meet me at the café now?"

"Yeah, I'll meet you there in 20 minutes." I throw my phone on the bed and pick out a college sweatshirt with some skinny jeans and some Nike air forces. Did my makeup and put my hair half up and half down. Grabbed my phone and headed out the door. As I'm walking, I think about Hayes. How could he cheat on me? Why would he? And on top of that my best friend Tori and my other best friend Andrew I met on campus. They are crazy and would be going after Hayes' head. Especially my brother Jack. I'm just gonna have this date and everything will be fine.

" Hey Kassy" I look behind me. It's Andrew

"Shit... Hey. What's up?"

"You good? you look like you're choosing between life and death right now" He hugs me as we both chuckle.
